I was against trading in the game at first since it makes your found items and exotics less special. But... With Xur handing out exotics like they were candy I don't think there is a valid reason not to have trading any more. I hope in Destiny 2 there is no such thing in Xur and 1 in a 1000 guardians might be lucky enough to have one exotic after many hours of gameplay.

I actually think xur and trading shouldn't both be in the game. For trading a item, the item needs a value. If xur comes round and sells ice breaker, it would break the trading as that weapon would lose value for a few weeks at least.

I agree which is why I can see trading now since Xur has devalued exotics. Perhaps they should of had him sell legendaries with random perks instead.

What if they allow you to trade but you have to pay a tower facilities agent of the twelve 50 strange coins to facilitate? Its just like Xur doing it. More expensive to do so not everyone can do it. I think this is something that should be considered. Supplemental to RNG and not a replacement.
