It's his parents fault because they let him play a game that rated T for teen and he is only 11. Bad parenting caused this mess!

Edited by pigdog3459: 2/25/2015 4:24:15 PMThe EB games. Will not sell to my son. I have to go in and show id. And buy it for him. The id is to show I am his father. That's why we always purchase. There instead of. Walmart

{illegal for him to buy, not illegal to play} US Logic

its not even illegal for him to buy lol no one gets carded for a T rated game. much less a M rated game. i seen countless kids walk out with GTA5, COD, Halo , Dying Light Etc. cashiers dont care the ones who do are new and will get bitched out by the kids mom and dad. seen it happen at best buy, this guy no longer cares and just puts in a date and hits ok lol. (this guy is my roommate) the Gamestop in our area never denies a sell due to age lol. honestly i dont care the kid is going to get it one way or another.

Swear to god after San Andreas came out i got carded EVERY SINGLE TIME. Games Carded For: Oblivion Red dead Redemption GTA Sanandreas (ironically not carded at blockbuster) Vice city Gta 4 max panye 3 so being the sly and mischievous child i was, i convinced my mother to buy them for me, which worked all up until they started describing why the games were related mature Game stop Guy "So you do realize this game has murder, super murder, baby murder, dog murder, graphic displays of penis, drugs and alcohol, more penis, decapitation, masturbation, blood infatuation, Genocidal annihilation, and vulgar language" Mom "righhhhhtttttt......, -blam!- that, we are going home" Me "Damn you gamestop!! DAMN YOU!!"
-
that goes back to the cashier caring to much. time have changed when i was a kid they were on top of it so we always got our older brothers and friends to buy them. these days no one cares lol.

Show me the law that bans the sale of "T for teen" games to people of any age. It is a guidance from a non-government agency that is used by parents and some retailers. Some retailers will create their own rules on what age limits they want to enforce, or even if they want to sell the game at all. This is why we find such crazy ratings where Halo, Gears of War, and GTA are all rated "M", where the last two should really be "Adults Only". They don't do this, though, because most retailers won't sell an AO game.

AO for Gears? lol and honestly if you a kid now (vs back when i was a kid ) where internet is everywhere not just in the living room then you already seen, heard, done alot worst then what games show.

I guess I didn't realize how common chain sawing people in two was.
