Just got thorn bounty...
I'm really concerned about the crucible part. I have some void fusion rifles and I might try a shotgun. Any tips?

void fusion, hang back in control and use void grenades if you have em.. i used a blue void fusion rifle

I'm mediocre in crucible but that part was fairly easy. I'm a hunter so I didn't mele a lot but I used Atheons epilogue, void shotgun, mg18a machine gun with field scout. Play defensive and reduce you're chances of dying

Provided that you get more kills than deaths on average in crucible, and provided that you use your special weapon plenty of times, you should be fine. If you got the bounty on your warlock/titan, equip voidwalker/defender (depending on which one) since void ability kills also count towards the bounty. If you got it on your hunter, then too bad.

Just finished my thorn bounty today! I did the crucible portion on control. I used Aetheon's epilogue, sword breaker and the swarm. My class was defender Titan. I used the magnetic grenades and chose the final melee option which keeps it constantly on cool down. If you at least play ok 1-1.5KD ratio you should easily get this done in ten matches. GLHF

It's really not hard, you get 5 towards the bounty for every kill and only go down 2 for every death. I have a void Black Chasma and Truth and a void The Swarm. Just keep a decent void weapon on you at all time and play it safe, don't be afraid to run and hide for a bit and you should be able to handle it within 2 hours even if you do bad. Just focus on going positive even by 1 kill every game and you are guarantee to get it.

Just grind through it.

Learn the heavy ammo spawns and use Corrective Measure. Camp control points with a fusion rifle in the mean time. Don't give up - Thorn is well worth it.

This bounty will test your limits..... when you become one with the void in the crucible....then and only then have you proven yourself worthy

Truth is good for this if you have sowrd breaker or the mush mellow epilog. I did it as a hunter with a scrub fusion because that's all I had. Did it a second time with WoC went alot quicker.
