Why do so many guardians need a bigger vault?
I don't get it. What are you guys keeping in there, I got plenty of space.
Really curious.
Edit: So yeah collection is the most given answer. I just didn't think so many people would want to collect it all.
Edit: Deej get in here if you want to see some reasons and opinions on the matter.

I plan on collecting every exotic weapon. Maybe exotic armor, too, after I get all the weapons. I have yet to decide. Other than that materials and some legendaries will occupy my vault. Oh, and emblems, shaders, and ships.

because some of us are hoarders; we like to show off the fact that we have a LOT of Legendary and Exotic Guns. it's easy to get attached to a weapon that has been there for a long time, helped you through Raids etc. and you don't want to dismantle it especially if it's still useful. had to say goodbye to my Epitaph today. a sweet rifle, to be replaced by a Longbow Synthesis 09. I hope this new rifle is as good as it looks.

1 ReplyCause I likes all 30+ o' me shaders that I never wear, all my old under leveled armors I invested materials in because they look cool, and stacking 200 glimmer consumables for that rainy day in the tower so I cans buy worthless crap that will be obsolete when house of wolves comes out! Yippers :-P

Well im trying to collect all the shaders. I save heavy ammo synths. i collect exotics, VoG weapons, CE weapons, and other cool things

Don't want dismantle exotic/raid/iron banner/pvp/pve weapons. Also saving rare fusion rifles for pocket infinity.

I try and keep one of each type of gun for each damage type plus all my exotics, that quickly adds up to a lot of guns. Also the general section lumps materials, consumables, shaders, ships, emblems etc all into one section so it's always a juggling match with that one when trying to move stuff between characters.

I treat my vault like the mystery box from cod. Cover your eyes randomly scroll around and select three guns then that's what you use.

Because all of the exotic weapons and VoG weapons are enough to fill it...

My armor section has a few more slots to fill but my weapons and consumables/mats are constantly full. I've only got like 3 purple weapons and the rest are all exotic in there and with 3 characters I don't want to swap just to get weapons from one to another.

I have like 14 exotics and raid weapons that are useful in differen situations I have to pad one of my characters up with that stuff I I can switch the stuff I need for character

You have an exotic you never use, you delete it, a month later they buff it and it's one of the best guns in the game. That's why I don't dismantle exotics. That's why I need more vault space.

I level one copy of a weapon leveled up among all my chars (too expensive to max a set for each, even if I could find them with perks I like). So that's: one scout, HC, AR plus Suros (4) 3 snipers, plus P&T (4) 2 fusions, plus PI (3) 3 MGs, plus SGA (4) 3 RLs (3) That's 18 out of 20 slots filled, and I don't even have lots of exotics yet.

I hoard shaders and I'm ocd about my inventory so lots of infrequently used weapons chill in there. Also I have two hunters and a warlock but full level 31 gear for a Titan. Just in case

I'm actually not a hoarder , I delete stuff if I think I will never use it. I would however love to have more vault space ! I like to carry my whole arsenal with me, so that's anything I am likely to use in any given situation. that's guns with every damage type and variety of short / long range. my primaries I carry the most of , because I tend to swap situationally & then there are also the guns I am levelling up. All that arsenal, when it comes to swapping weapons to another character it takes up the whole vault.

Most of the vog stuff I'll never use, but I just like to have them as a trophy for running it so many times.

I like holding on to my VoG gear and all the exotics I don't use, but I think the biggest concern is that all of my consumables and currencies don't fit in the vault.

I like to collect Exotic Weapons/Armor. I would also like to hold onto one set of old raid gear for each raid as they become obsolete. I also like to carry a lot of weapons on my characters to switch it up based on the situation (fix the ammo glitch btw). This gets cumbersome when I lack the free empty space in my vault. It wouldn't be nearly as difficult if this could all be managed from the character select screen or the mobile app.
