Guardians,
If you haven't noticed, we've been searching far and wide for protectors of humanity that will be revived on every continent. With the release of Destiny, the Bungie community stands a chance of becoming more global than ever. These cultural differences will give us knew ways to appreciate the experience we'll all be sharing.
Now, we know how much some of you enjoy change on this website (i.e. not much), so we're going to ask in advance that we put our best foot forward when someone speaking in a foreign tongue arrives on our forum. We don't yet have the moderation staff to support them, but it's a thing that we'll be cultivating over time. Early attempts at teaching Foman how to speak German in his sleep have been met with utter failure.
It will take bravery for people to join a community that speaks a different language. Let's reward their courage with some common decency and friendship. Our Mentors will be at the ready, as they always are, to extend that helping hand as best they can.
Conversely, I am putting the Ninjas on notice. Disrespect for any reason will be a prompt for them to swing away. Let's welcome people of all origins (even Awoken) to Bungie.net.
We can use this very topic as a rehearsal. :)
