Iron banner availabilty

I'm not saying the Iron banner should be unlimited. Bungie can open it up at any time they want to. What I am saying is if they open it up on the weekend you get a couple extra days every month. And every couple months you get a couple extra days in addition to that.
Destinydb is claiming that the iron banner will be available: Tues Oct7th to the 14th, Tues Nov4th to the 11th and Tues Dec2nd to 9th in 2014. 9am to 9am the first week of every month. They did not do that in the beta. Be heard.

I bet their will be a different event sponsored by a different group each week. So you have a limited to build rep each month with each special pvp event. Will prob have something similar with pve also.

1 ReplyI don't get it, you wanted more Iron Banner? Not sure what the post launch schedule has to do with the beta... More Iron Banner time in the beta would have just led to more legendary item getters being bummed they just lost em.

2 RepliesI believe the Iron Banner was supposed to be an example of the emissaries that they talked about in the GI article. I'm okay with it being a once a month thing. It will make it feel like some kind of tournament.

1 ReplyI'm not sure if I trust DestinyDB's time-tables, for this or the Agent of the Nine. I'm guessing both will be events specifically announced in advance by Bungie. If the time-tables do turn out to be true (bear in mind, these were mined from the Beta), I don't really have any problem with it. A week of Iron Banner once a month sounds about right for such a "prestigious" event.

The next month is spaced out more when you get payed, but some months you get three pay checks. If they unlocked it on the weekends we get more days, we get more opportunities.
