what's your reason for getting ps4 or xbox one? for me, the only reason i'm getting xbox one is to play titanfall, halo, and most of all, destiny (xbox 360 is eventually gonna phase out and i'll have to restart my profile on xbox one if i get it later. also, more people will be playing on xbox one (compared to xbox 360) so i'll be able to easily play with more people in destiny)

Note: I didn't simply get it on PC because prefer console stability over PC unknowns. Aaaannd here come the flames. 2. I wanted to play Ryse. Also was not disappointed. IMO the critics were way too critical, in most cases for no real reason. 3. I wanted to consolidate my entertainment. Goal achieved. 4. Xbox one controller > all (again, my opinion) 5. Titanfall 6. Halo 7. Quantum Break (it's Remedy, they made Alan Wake) 8. Sunset Overdrive (I was kind of interested in the fact that a dev who used to only make PlayStation games would now make an Xbox exclusive apparently all because of the cloud processing, makes one think) 9. Black Tusk Studio project. (The studio apparently has a ton of talent that have left their original studios)

Been on next-gen for a couple of years now. ;)

Halo. Pretty happy with my 360 and PS3 collection. But once the new Halo comes out, it's time to upgrade.

Destiny is the only right answer. :) I'd say Bayonetta 2, but I'm not up for a WiiU debate today.

I've got my Xbox One because I could. :-0

They are as follows: .... Yep, that about sums it up. I won't be getting either console until one of them gets a few decent titles.

1 ReplyI grabbed a Wii U after playing 3D World with my friends. Had so much fun I had to buy one immediately after, plus 2014 is going to be great for exclusives I'm only getting a PS4 for Destiny, even then, all my friends backed out of PSr and are going XB1 so I'm not even sure I want one now.

After 7 years of experiencing Microsoft, I wanted the chance to experience Sony.

1 ReplyThere is no reason to buy a PS4 or Xbox One right now...

19 RepliesPS4 - Cheaper. - Doesn't come with things I don't need/want (*cough* Kinect *cough cough*). - Doesn't have policies that originally tried to screw me over. - Better hardware. It may only be slightly more so, but better nonetheless. - Doesn't put things like Netflix behind an online paywall, unlike xbox live. Only multiplayer. - True free-to-play games, unlike Xbox's which are behind an Xbox Live Gold paywall.

More 360 players than X1 players, definitely.

Just for the games that are on each one.

I'm getting the Xbox one for 3 reasons 1. Halo 2. Dead rising 3 3. Destiny

SERVER LISTS, BABY!!!!

Because they have a small library and are too expensive. I mean if I had the money to waste I would buy one now even with the small amount of games, but as it stands, I'll wait for a price drop.
