I love the utter hypocrisy of the American Left right now. if George bush had said something like this, they'd be calling for impeachment. apparently killing people is acceptable as long as a democrat is the one calling in the strikes.

George Bush is still just as bad.

1 ReplyIt's because democrats only like to talk about how bad the republicans are, and not themselves.

9 RepliesEdited by DJ Mentle: 11/5/2013 12:09:26 AMThe funny thing is, I doubt any of the people criticizing Obama right now actually give a shit about the Middle Easterners who lose their lives every day. Instead, they're merely looking for leverage against a president who is not, in fact, Hitler, and is far from our worst president.

2 RepliesEdited by Bistromathics: 11/4/2013 10:15:29 PMThe American "Left" is no different from the Right on national security and foreign policy issues; politicians are politicians, and Washington is just 50 shades of Conservative. But the same people protesting the invasion of Iraq and the Patriot Act continue to protest today. You're severely mistaken if you think Progressives and actual left-wing thinkers (read: evil commies) support the president on his national security policies, among other things. While it isn't very difficult to be better than Bush, Obama's half-hearted attempts to take on environmental issues and massive wealth inequality are not exactly endearing to anyone actually on the Left. Nor were a stimulus package the Left thought too small and healthcare reform that didn't go far enough. And then there's the whole perpetual war and spying on everyone thing. I think the reaction of anyone on the Left would be the same as that of anyone who's actually a Socialist: please stop associating him with us.

It’s the kind of quote likely to make Obama supporters cringe or scramble for justifying explanations, perhaps by rationalizing the quote as either false or out of context, or critiquing the information-gathering methods of authors Mark Halperin and John Heilemann.
Holy fucking shit, that article is biased as all hell. Yahoo news sucks all of the balls.

Haha! Why do people still vote for these joke parties? STOP! Stop voting republicans or democrats and expecting a difference.

3 RepliesCome on. Bush supported the drone program, and Obama continues it. And why are drones bad anyway?

Impeachment for stupid reasons is a GOP trait since the Clinton episode. You know, that's why Reagan survived the whole contra affair. Although I can see why Obama was shocked when he got the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009.

Pretty much.

The world won't listen or do anything. Which is what they like, stomping on everyone without reprisal.
