Not doing mini-vow to get a shower curtain
Bungie can shove Duel Destiny and Coalescense Budding where the sun dont shine
Final Shape was a final middle finger to solo players, hope Sony makes them develop offline single player games forever lol

I really, really hope that they don't end up producing offline single player games though, because those would have to be played solo and you know how well they handle that..

It really wasn’t. The mission is good. It’s just people don’t want to talk to others and you seem to the one of them.

Has nothing to do with communication. It's the fact that solo players can't get a class item they want. It's a giant slap in the face because what if those players don't know the callouts for symbols? What if they're part of that generation that doesn't know how to read a standard clock? The point is, it's not achievable by solo players, and it's honestly just a PR nightmare as the class items were advertised to be available.

Edited by Sen: 8/16/2024 11:48:00 PMWould you say raids, GMs, harder content that doesn't have matchmaking in which they grant an abundance of loot to players who do them a slap to the face to solo players? Would you say any content in the game that actually requires you to communicate with other players and not being piss easy as slap to the face to solo players? The existence of you having to do a mission is not a slap to solo players. Y'all are slapping yourselves. Not everything in this game should be obtainable solo. Because of that point you don't like the genre of game you're playing. And why didn't we see this much energy with the raids exotics, GMs rewards, microcosm, triumphs for harder content, seals etc.

I think you misunderstood the point of the argument I was making. The point I was making, is that solo players can't get a specific item they purchased the DLC for. Grandmaster Nightfalls don't need any real form of communication. Raids are a different story. Raids are DESIGNED that way. An exotic mission SHOULDN'T need you to find another player to get the exotic in question. Revision Zero, Outbreak Perfected, Vox Obscura, and Whisper don't need you to have other players to acquire. If anyone thinks this is some form of entitlement, they're the reason the community gets hate. If Bungie wants to gatekeep something that a vast majority of players can't obtain, even disabled players, they're subject to a lot of bad criticism. And before you mention Fireteam Finder, this is NOT an option. I tried to find a SINGLE post related to the Dual Destiny mission, and there was 0 people.

Also another good quote if people just don't want to because they "identify" as a solo player
Its not gatekeeping. There arent that many people who are actually incapable of putting a team together. Being a solo player isnt an identity, its a choice, and its one that people can stop making if they want everything in the game.
Bungie sets up the rules as to how their game is played. You either do it or don't. Vast majority of player can't obtain? Y'all are a VOCAL minority. Disabled players? You mean anxiety? Then the whole idea of MMOs existing would be against you. The idea of multiplayer would be against you. This is the first of it's kind in terms of mission where you get TWO EXOTIC PERKS into one piece of armor and you think that it should be the same as a regular EXOTIC WEAPON mission? That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Some of you genuinely have problems with anxiety and you need to go to therapy if a video game is causing you to not be able to play the multiplayer aspect of the game. Gonna quote what someone else did.
If you are phisically incapable of playing the mission then youre not physically capable of playing the game. The majority of the community have done the mission, most people enjoyed it. Yes, anyone who complains about playing multiplayer in an MMO and then asks for a solo option is a crybaby and really should play something else. Destiny is and always has been an MMO, if you cannot play multiplayer then you shouldnt play MMOs.
You. Are. The. Minority. Just a handful of people who actually post who are ALSO less than a fraction of the community. Most people enjoy the mission. Those who actually do it. And the fact that you think the majority don't like this mission is like the opposite of common sense. Like, most people have the common sense that this game is multiplayer and know that a lot of loot will be locked behind playing with others so they just play that side of the game if they want it that badly. They don't need it advertised to them brother. Grandmaster nightfalls don't need communication? Dual Destiny was DESIGNED to have DUAL in the name and needs TWO people to complete it. It's quite LITERALLY the theme and the point of the mission even existing in the first place and have TWO perks on it. Also if you need to use disabilities to get an in-game reward, your argument is not only invalid but I find it disgusting to use it as something to get what you want in general. That's disingenuous and I think most people should be ashamed to the point that I think you need therapy. I'm not even joking. Let me make this 100% clear. Let me whisper it in your ear so you fully understand. You will never get what you want. This is how the mission will be. And you won't get the exotic class item no matter how much you want it unless you go into the mission and do it. There's nothing you can do otherwise. There will be no update. Oh and LFG? You have jonty and countless others every time these threads are posted of people who offer help. AND y'all solo players CHOOSE to not even talk to EACH OTHER and group up to do 25 minutes of a mission you'll never have to touch again and someone you'll never see again. Like... you do realize that you are the one who walked into a bar and got upset when they serve alcohol?
