It's literally a fanfic written by someone who doesn't like the characters.
It's terrible writing in general, I stopped playing the story week 3 because how awful the story was in just the first 3 weeks. Only to find out is somehow it took a nose dive from stupidtown.

I haven’t even started this season’s story at all and based off what I’m hearing, I’m not wanting to. Something about sitting through bad dialogue isn’t appealing to me.

Yeah starts right off the bat with Failsafe complaining that we forgot about her which is kinda insulting by Bungie thinking we're that dumb. We didn't forget about Failsafe, Bungie did.

She deserves to be on the ship where its safe, not some dump that gets raided by the fallen and vex 24/7.

But this season..I played the very first mission for it that it automatically throws you into, and I already didn’t care for it. 😬 I don’t plan on going back
