The Pale Heart is "lonely"...Where is everyone?!
Doing Overthrow alone is getting tedious, when my. Fireteam isn't online, it would be nice to run into other guardians in the wild.

Should have the option to load in solo or public instance. They've done it before, I dunno why the can't do it here. Actually, I do know why they can't do it here. [spoiler]too hard basket[/spoiler]

It does lack the magic of coming across randoms, makes it a very lonely location. Even Mercury was a more active location (at least how it felt personally to me). Still a nice Patrol Area just feels like it's a little left out, now we've defeated the Witness I'd of thought we would've come across random players on Patrol.

Yeah I kind of wish the pale heart was like all other destinations just with new public events(which it has in one way) but not part of a bigger event.

Weird. I hate running in to other guardians in the wild. Hell, I think they're in the way in the Strikes playlist as well. If somehow through some feat of MAGIC they could just let people elect to launch things with or without matchmaking, I'd have a much more fun time in the game.

To be fair every second post is about letting people solo strikes, makes sense that this is solo it you want it to be.

Unless you do matchmade Overthrows, it's a solo instance.

4 RepliesI agree. 100% Obviously there are players really enjoying their own private patrol space. And I do think it should remain that way for them. But, opening up an “option” for this patrol destination with randoms (like the other destinations) could result in a greater participation of players who are finding the Pale Heart rather boring and empty. Despite patrol being looked down upon by many elite or talented players, there are plenty of players who simply enjoy a more casual gaming experience like patrol.

It's meant to be a private instance, has to why it needed to be is beyond me, probably because the individual collectables they couldn't get to work in a public instance Overthrow is stupid easy solo , but boring

1 ReplyAs we have the rest of the system if we want to engage and interact, I enjoy the peaceful environment the Traveller has presented me in the Pale Heart. I can go about my buisiness without interference, mostly involving opening damn chests on the never ending quest for that 5/5 class item. :)

I grinder the majority of it solo. Then I discovered the one matchmaker node that changes location each day I believe. Happy hunting

I kinda feel like the destination is still in the 3-days prior to the final shape mode, and simply no one else is there. I also feel that we have no need to go back there post final shape (prevention of) as this place will be empty. I know what you mean, and a social experience would be nice, but I get why it's not. I think what we have will stay for at least the remainder of the year... year 11 frontiers could change that up, but I think the traveller would become our new social space and the pale heart could go!!
