Master Lost Sector Exotic Drop Rates are still way too low
Title kind of says it all, no reason I should bust my -blam!- in a Master Lost Sector, have a flawless sub-10 minute run and not get anything meaningful. 3 Enhancement Cores and 2 Enhancement Prisms...woo...
Master Lost Sectors should guarantee an exotic drop, or at the very least have a guaranteed exotic drop if you complete flawlessly/under a certain time threshold/above a certain score

2 RepliesI don’t remember who did the testing but the drop rates between legend and master are almost identical. You’re better off running legend. Master is a waste of effort.

RNG is RNG. I am sorry but I have actually gotten every exotic I wanted (most of the Lost Sector ones) on my first, second, or third attempt. It has never taken me 4 or more clears for an exotic, and most were the first run. It is RNG. Gjallarhorn had a very very low drop chance, yet so many people got it on their first raid, either from Crota/Deathsingers or Vault of Glass gorgon chest or a few nightfalls and they got it. It took my 5 months of playing everyday to even get it. Lottery is lottery. Yes you can chance the odds in the lottery by how many numbers are available, but again, there are people like me that get it significantly fast, and your experience, unfortunately, isn't THAT common.

4 RepliesRunning masters makes no sense. Do legend, kill the champs and the boss and hit the chest in under five minutes. Exotic every other run.

2 RepliesIf you are running Master, surely you can run Legendary solo. While it says “rare”, I don’t think I’ve run more than 5-6 before getting an exotic to drop. Work smarter, not harder.
