Barely see anyone playing on neomuna its such useless location. this is one location i will not miss when its vaulted
-
That’s because it’s cartoon land

3 RepliesYou have to wonder who they made Neomuna for. No quick travel points and very few enemies. Then something spawns behind you and one shots you. It's kind of like they have no idea why people patrol. If they added an area with infant red bars spawning for exotic catalysts that would have been kewl. There's no money to be made fixing it, so I doubt it will happen. They should sunset it and bring back Mars.

The difficulty is why I don’t even bother with it to be honest. Im ok with a challenge but on patrol? It gets really annoying really fast. When I want to explore or just chill out, I don’t want to go around checking my bad side hoping a random add wont one shot me. Public events become harder than they should too, I used to be able to solo them on my own but the ones in neomuna are just impossible without at least one other person.

1 ReplyNeomuna is one of the reasons I didn't buy Lightfall.
-
It's a good place I believe to come up with some builds, that's what I do when I go there, I don't care about the loot I just try to figure out different builds with different guns and exotic armor for each class.
-
Vault it
-
Do anybody else's frames drop a bunch on Neomuna?
-
a month after neomuna came out i noticed people even started playing on dreaming city which was dead for about a year. Thats how lame the new content is
-
I don’t go there, I feel like most of this year so far sucks and neomuna the most.

1 ReplyEdited by One Death, Lord Of Xibalba: 9/4/2023 8:04:43 PMThe problem with Neomuna is that it feels dead. It doesn't matter how many ads or enemy factions you put in it, Neomuna has no soul. In D1, Oryx's Dreadnaught, the area accesible to Guardians, was probably smaller than Neomuna, but you always felt a sense of wonder exploring it. In Neomuna, you have no sense of wonder. It's just a vibrant city with endless ads & that's it. The story missions feel so boring too.
-
There isn't anything on Neomuna worth the power drop. It's hilarious that Neomuna patrol is actually tougher than heroic weekly missions on Neomuna. Feels like they put you 50 under the enemy level. But I don't know what you expect. Joe Bungie is not an intelligent person.

4 RepliesIts getting more difficult to find people for Vex Incursions.
-
Its a destination I barely spend time in free roam anyway
-
I agree. I would rather be on any destination in the game other than Neomuna.
-
1 ReplyFix ? Just remove it and replace it with the planet mars . 😉 Then i would re-install for sure .
-
1 Replyyeah. For me, even when Neomuna was first released, it was pretty much a ghost town. there might be one or sometimes two other guardians in the area. a lot of times, i was the only one there. i can count the number of public events i've ever done there on one hand, (and i farm public events a lot for glimmer). Terminal Overloads were just painful because there was never enough people to help. i have only seen 2 vex strike events.... and failed them both because there was only 2 of us in the instance. i've pretty much given up going there. most of the time when i'm messing around on patrols i'm just trying out non-meta weapons/classes, leveling up weapons, or using weapons that i haven't touched in years. and Neomuna is not set up for that.
-
How should they fix it?
-
5 RepliesDo new season exotics drop from the vex strike a la legend lost sectors? I read reference that they could but not sure.
-
4 RepliesExploring that location is torture. You either drop down or something drops down on your head.
-
The only good use I found from Neomuna was the Vex Incursions to get Exotic Armors I was missing. And that required great timing and lots of patience. Once I got all of those, Neomuna became a hard pass. Sure isn’t a fun place to go to shoot stuff and relax. Neomuna actually made me go back and patrol the “older” locations. They may be old and visited often in the past, but they are more fun than Neomuna.
-
saw tons of people there at the start of the season farming strike forces
-
Io was more populated before it was vaulted than Neomuna is now ... Yet we were told it got the chop because of low player count?
-
3 RepliesEdited by waterpolo1: 9/5/2023 1:53:58 AMYou make it sound like there are more than tens of people who main patrol zones. Nobody plays at any locations. Unless they are being loading in for a strike.
-
2 new exotics in 2 days so it's not all bad 😉
-
2 RepliesFeels boring because that is how tech cities feel in real life. All the neon skyscrapers feel like its real life counterpart.
-
Same, but when I do go there for strand currency I don’t have an issue it just takes longer because adds are beefier. They should honestly set it to 1800 or even 1810 instead of you always being 10 light below. After light fall there was zero reason for me to back there I got all strand stuff on my titan and don’t care for strand I’m my warlock or hunter. I would grind em out if it wasn’t such a slog going back there and talking to nimbus every week.
