Bungie, the trials test pool is terrible.
I dont know what you did but now it's 1000x sweatier when you're in the pool. super unfun please remove it.

Until the cheats/hacks/mods are 100% gone, trials is not proper competitive pvp.

13 RepliesI watched Frostbolt stream to see where he ends up playing in, and every time he reset his card he was in practice pool for several matches, destroying people there in seconds. How much more "practice" does a guy like him need, Bungie? Hasn't he "practiced" enough? How can you be so tone deaf? Is commom sense prohibited at your company?

1 ReplyThey’ll be getting my feedback, and hopefully many in the community will be doing the same-not playing. Trials felt the best it ever has earlier in this season. These changes are not needed or wanted.

Trials has been trash for me today. Before the games were very challenging but I stood a chance. But now im facing teams and players who don’t die. This is not fun and Im done. Ill go back to playing other games for my pvp fix.

2 RepliesAll games i'm getting 2 tapped by the "god" smg halfway across the map with 80+ resil from some lock/titan, and if it's not that its no time to explain wall campers just waiting with shield/well, had 1 killed instantly full hp/shield and its like... cool this is what pvp is now

7 RepliesCould not get past my 2nd win because the algorithm instantly sets us up with people who’ve gone flawless. Not to mention those with the -blam!- FLAWLESS TITLE. The one time they add something even remotely close to sbmm they -blam!- it up. Mf’s be like “oh just get good lmao” while being the same mfs that have the immortal adept god roll.

Trials and pvp in general are complete trash in this game. Its full of the most toxic crap you can think of. Servers are sheet. Players cheating anyway they can. Players using the most toxic load outs they can find. It’s majorly unbalanced in so many ways. Bungie really isn’t going to do much about it because they are part of the problem. Bungie loves to troll. If you have been around long enough you know what I mean. Basically get use to the toxic pvp this game is or don’t play and find another game to get your pvp fix from. Personally I wouldn’t care one bit if pvp just died in this game.

Agreed, I’m having an absolutely abysmal time playing trials solo. I have played over 30 matches and won only about 3 I am on like my 15th straight card reset without a single win. Forget flawless, I can’t even get a single win on the card. Sure I’m not the best player, but I’m far from the worst. I’ve been matched with people who are clearly brand new at trials because they don’t have any sense of the game mode from what I see in how they play and that’s OK but there’s no way I can strive to reach flawless if I’m going to be matched with brand, new players, the whole card it’s crazy

Personally I’m okay playing against sweats but zone control trials is absolutely dogshit,I don’t know what goober out in the dev team thought it’d be a good idea to put it back in,no one likes it. It’s good enough to have the zone spawn at the end of the round.

How does it work exactly ? Are you put in the easier pool if you have a flawed card ? Generally games are easier than last week but idk if it’s just random matchmaking or the new thing.

2 RepliesThat’s because everyone with flawed cards basically been put into one pool by themselves. The practice pool is for those who have a flawed card. If you have no losses on your card, your automatically are in the challenger pool, even on game 1. It’s basically the flawless pool being on ALL weekend. Virtually ANYONE low to mid skilled will be in the practice pool. And you also can’t dodge it by playing with a flawed card. Bungie added safeguards in the practice pool. if you do too well playing in the practice pool, you’ll be put atomically in the challenger pool and have to stay in it the rest of the week, even with a flawed card or try to reset your card. Point is… It’s sweaty due to low to mid skilled being COMPLETELY cut off from the rest of the trials community by use of the practice pool. Truthfully though, the new changes still haven’t convinced me to play trials. Wont be playing it this week, or possibly any other week at this point.

Worst trials ever. I say this game gets worse every weekend. they have made it a billion times worse. I haven't even got past game 5. I have to 1v3 every game. if they put SBMM in then they did a poor job or people realized that this game is garbage.
