I don't mean threaten their channel, just take their share of the money on videos like that.... topic- Here's what I'm already seeing, btw. 7's will and are gatekeeping/ruining the system... cheesed it for pinnacles, cheesed it for rank 7... but now, don't give commendations. Almost every 7 I've matched with is not giving commendations to the group after... I've been working hard at my rank 7... 5 solo legend LS's one flawless is spicy 35 under... Commendations is the last thing I need... I'm about 200 away. I know I'll get it, but I can already see the gatekeeping happening. Dishonorable gatekeeping, btw... people that 'cheated' (call it an exploit all you want 😉) that still need to feel 'special' and delusionally convinced themselves that they are. So, anyone that cheesed rank 7 should have all that progress reset (back to 6) AND they should be timed out from guardian ranks for the rest of the season. Furthermore... any cheese or exploit videos (up to Bungie's discretion) that make the game worse or ruin the experience of people playing legit (like the commendation cheese does) should be claimed - Bungie should take their cut of those videos. That's not anti free speech either... actually the opposite, that's freedom... don't tread on me... capitalism. Monetize the leeches trying to suck the studio's blood. I'm not angry either, I'll hit 7 legit today... but even though the system CLEARLY "isn't" perfect we shouldn't excuse bad behavior or those that advocate and monetize bad behavior. You're not "Elite" if you cheese your rank... that's Brass tax. 7+ is temporary every season, right? If you are found to be exploiting the system your progress should be wiped and you should be locked out of the system and rewards for the rest of the season, imo.
