Now I can shoot with it while I’m jumping? Jolt with it will be interesting but still, put it in the energy slot and I still probably wouldn’t use it.

4 RepliesWhy use DARCI when you can use Whisper of the Worm?… I’ve heard they’re buffing Whisper too. I mean they are probably preparing it for a new meta. First you grapple, then you swing, then you release the grapple and fly, then you snipe! Bwahahahahahaha!!!🤣

This Darci buff has to be the dumbest buff i have ever seen. The community wanted the gun to have the damage brought up so it can be viable in end-game content they give it jolt lol i cant make this stuff up.

If the jolt effect on it scales like it does on volt shot weapons, it’ll essentially just be a pretty decent damage buff.

I will. Jolt is pretty op since it it's both AOE and DOT. My Brigands Law is rolled with both feeding frenzy and voltshot and its like a cheaper version of riskrunner. And it will jolt w/o having to reload. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Still can’t believe THAT was the fix they went for. So now Darci is literally a mediocre version of Cloudstrike/Trinity Ghoul/Macabre, that’s still stuck in the heavy slot with weak as f damage. I can’t even. And making whisper have ridiculous AE literally is the antithesis to it’s entire purpose. The weapon is outclassed by LFs that do it’s exact job, and this is the pathetic change they go with? And people wonder why they get so much flack…..

Yeah the heavy snipers having good AE is sort of a comical and pointless buff. But I got a buff so I shouldn’t complain too much.

Yep, Volt Shot was all that it needed to justify using the Heavy and Exotic slot. Just give PVP players a -blam!- tape measure and delete Darci.
