Oof solstice bad and new card is bad real bad
Ok so good to see that they taken a third of the map away for eaz and removed almost all building interiors and shortcuts oof
Also why take away the unique bosses just to give us a generic taken ogre 😬
The armor can loose stats!!
Edit:: got my armor to the point of choosing dude the grind
And the gains are none existent!! Your better off not worrying about it if you want decent state rolled armor also the the rewards are not even increased for the last 10-15 runs of eaz I only got 1 total loot and half of it was blues 💀
The event is so much worse why take it from a frantic dash to waiting for enemies to spawn that take for ever to respawn far longer then what it use to be this is a joke you mad it worse then gambit💀💀
The rewards and new card stuff is non existent and I can’t say the skateboard emote looks decent and if you can move with it but I doubt it
Why is it you guys like to reduce the amount of stuff you give out?
They ruined solstice event in mostly
Oh and I’m tired of events telling me to get event items by not doing event activities

Don’t change a thing for it just give use what you did in destiny 1

2 RepliesAs soon as Bungie revealed the event card in the TWAB I knew it was going to be trash. Just another grindy and unrewarding event that is trying to push you to spend money to line their pockets with. I don't know who is making the decisions at Bungie but they've really been making this game less fun every year. The only thing that has improved is the story, gameplay is a mess right now all the way down to their crappy 1990s peer-to-peer networking.

4 Repliesi've been playing some activities and happened to have enough materials to upgrade one of the armor pieces, so i did it. I upgraded the arm piece on my hunter just to check the glow. Then i went to the eververse store to check what i could buy. I checked the coloured glows and noticed i could buy for bright dust. I don't know if it is a bug or intended, but i could do it. Do just enough to upgrade one of the armor piece, and then you should be able to buy the glow with bright dust. I could, on PS5.

Bungie ffs please make some sick looking event Armor like you did with AoT in d1. Those raid sets were so -blam!- legendary (Understatement). Edit: they got the armor right the first two year y1 being the absolute best imo. But Jesus these sets are getting worse. Stop trying to compete with war frame. They win (imo) already in the ugly armor department.

5 RepliesI agree the event is bad. Firstly, adding a paid track to it is just blatant greed. We already have paid game, paid expansions, paid 'deluxe' content (which includes unique weapons, armors and exotics and game content) and now events still have loads of MTX but now also have a paid track to them, in addition to everything else? Bungie, you're really starting to look like a mobile game company at this point. As for the event, why the hell is is possible to grind out all the currencies (which there are too many of, in typical bungie fasion) and try to upgrade your armor only to make it WORSE??? Seriously, I had a 54 roll drop to a 53 roll when i was 'upgrading' it. Why did I spend my time grinding that out to literally make my armor worse? What total spud thought that was a good idea? I have nothing personal against anyone that makes games but I genuinely think whoever made some of the decisions about this event should think about looking for other work because it's just bafflingly absurd. I already felt the lack of respect for player time in this game was ridiculous but this takes it to another level.

10 Repliesdang the perspective difference is crazy. lmfao this is me and a friends first time on this map and we thought it was dope af. i had thought "wow i can go like, everywhere." we played for an hour and a half and finished a piece of gear i think my friend got 1 1/2 done. My opinion coming (from not knowing what I am missing apparently from past year) is, it's not bad. but as for the gear stats, it seemed better to just use the seasonal thing imo to get what you want.

I’ve never really cared for the EAZ in the past. I didn’t care for its maze like nature, and I’ve never felt platforming in Destiny was good. I liked seeing the boosts and extra platforms around to make it less painful. But the way they updated the event feels more boring. I also like the new aesthetic of the grassy stuff. Gives it a more “summer” vibe. Tower decorations are neat. I don’t care about the upgrade pass. I wanted there to be a bunch of cool stuff, but nothing I care for. I wouldn’t even spend bright dust on that stuff. So I’m not bothered by it at all. The event challenges is … eh. It seems like it could have been triumphs, in the triumph section, and served the exact same purpose. Since I think all those are Triumphs for the event also. I’m guessing it would have been harder to advertise for the upgrade pass if they only in the triumph section. Doesn’t really bother me. The thing that bothers me the most is the glows for the armor seem rather unimpressive in their design, compared to previous years. This doesn’t make me want to stop playing the game outright. But I also am not dying to get home from work to sign on into the game. But after the initial reset day, no even has been that way for me. So I don’t feel insulted or riled up over it.

I’m just using the armor for ornaments and will reskin the artiface armor from the new dungeon.

At least the last couple seasons gave it the appeal of a "scavenger hunt" when the chests popped up. Now? Now we get to stand under a tree til it splooges BLUE GEAR on us. And the rotating elemental burns at least gave me a chance to pull stuff I don't normally use, out of the vault, just for fun. This is the most braindead excuse for content since...Dares... But at least Dares had more weapons, and armor to grind for. Not sure about anybody else, but I've gotten damn near god-rolled armor for every slot, from umbral focusing, this season. We don't need the armor. This is even less useful than basic transmog options. The best thing Bungie did this event was troll us with the name of the new hand cannon reward. Why give us the shotgun back after they've basically done everything to pellets shottys but ACTUALLY bury them? Where else did the thought go? Into the titles? Lmfao. They're insane if they think anybody but the dedicated are going to contribute more than a week to this sorry excuse for content.
