You don’t lose those unlocks. They’re never consumed and if you leave the artifact and go back in the mod no longer appears unlocked. I thought it was bugged until I noticed it wasn’t even consuming the unlock point. So I looked it up and saw it got disabled because it allowed people to shoot through wall. At the time it may have looked like it was both unlocked while letting you select other mod(s). So you had zero unlock points in the end. But if you could the number of items you have unlocked and then see how many unlocks you’ve earned in the lower left or the screen, it should be the same number. In other words you didn’t lose an unlock point. It would be nice if there was better in game messaging. Something that actually told you the mod was disabled.
