In nightfall, when a team memeber run's off without the rest of the team, they force the champions to despawn, this wouldn't be a problem... if the champions were not directly connected to the rewards at the end of the round, I bet some of you noticed that at the bottom left there is something that will appear called "Chanpion rewards" and a rough score to go with it "Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum." for nightfalls and lost sectors, these affect your chance's to get rewards, the better your medal the better the chance, not just by a little, but has the potential to be the difference between just one enhancement core and a whole prism, or an exotic for lost sectors.
So why do some players just run past the champion's? this has happened enough times that I'm not joking on this, griefing is to use the mechanics to annoy others (in this case destroying the chance's of other players rewards by despawning the champion's on perpose and abandoning the rest of the team,) is this a good reason to report them?

I wouldn’t say that’s a good reason, no.

1 ReplyEvery1 here mostly is acting like a elitist piece of garbo. There is no utter reason in any of d2 activities, for there to be a pull/joining allies option. Either all 3 of u meet up to have the path open or it just doesnt let u progress, simple. U speedruning rejects make me sick. You want competition? Go to a esports game and go get sweaty & stfhu! This needing to do a basic simple activity and to skip such a easy activity, why the hell have the activity in the 1st place,. Yet again 3time 3rdMyPost, another dumb decision made by bungo.

11 RepliesEdited by The_Spider_780: 8/30/2021 1:01:52 PMYeah I feel your pain. It’s especially annoying when randoms have no stun weapons as well. Doing GM farming I encounter this sometimes and I honestly don’t understand how the other people have no awareness of the people around them. Nightfalls are all about teams and working together AND IS ABOUT KILLING ALL CHAMPIONS TO GET THE BEST REWARDS. If this was not the case then why would nightfalls be any better than normal strikes, you are just playing a harder version without any more loot at the end. Personally I think there should be a report option for this, and result in nightfall time outs like comp, but sadly I doubt it will ever happen. Also, to those who say just do LFG, seriously why would I bother putting up an LFG for a few runs of the hero version, and let’s be honest; no one would join it

Then dont play the matchmaking ones 👈👈😎

1 ReplyEverytime I see a post like this, I just know that you already reported them and want to know if you were being overly sensitive.

Edited by Chucky: 8/31/2021 9:11:55 AMIf you want others to play the way that you want them to, then make a fire team. You get basically nothing in the match made nightfalls anyway.

3 RepliesEdited by Unstoppable_Screeb: 8/31/2021 1:54:02 AMAhhh I see we’ve found another entitled -blam!-. How can you seriously come on here and ask whether someone playing a game how they wanna play it is considered griefing? I don’t like other players killing me in crucible, maybe I should report them for griefing? Lmao get over yourself

We call that sabotage.

5 RepliesNothing is going to happen to them. If I ever play with you, I'm going to hit you up for grieving. Some people may be trying to get bronze.

Just sending this back to the top of the "Latest" page for shizzle.

11 RepliesThat’s not griefing. Annoying yes. Play with a full fireteam to avoid ransoms.

17 RepliesThats not griefing. Unless you think anything that annoys someone is that. But thats means you are doing it to if you annoy them by not running past the champions. When you do matchmaking you go in to it knowing that you may get matched up with someone who wants to play and do things differently. If it annoys you stop using matchmaking and use lfg instead. Only a Karen would consider this a reportable offense.

5 RepliesThey probably just want the powerful reward… I’ve done it a few times
