1 ReplySunset all champions and replace them with some non-boss enemies with actual mechanics that shift gameplay. As they stand all you need to do is have a weapon with the right mod slapped on it. They dont add any depth, just an extra box to check before entering a mission.
-
1 ReplyHow are they buggy? They’re only buggy if you freeze them.
-
7 RepliesThis season has been good with hand cannon overload I’m just gonna be pissed when they make us use bows are some shit to stun them again next season. I don’t like how the mods are seasonal I wish you could switch the overload mods to any weapon type it makes no difference.
-
^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^
-
Just nerf the teleport mechanic.
-
Honestly the only times they've been buggy is when my connection was shit, I really don't understand what people are having problems with.
-
Its been long enough, if yall dont know how to handle overload champs by now youre just throwing.
-
Just ditch them all on paper champions sounded cool and interesting, in practice they're just very annoying and limiting your gear choice.
-
1 ReplyTBH, as a high skill gamer with a S tier gamestyle I fervently disagree.
-
3 RepliesWorst is when an overload teleporting fallen is protected by a teleporting barrier servitor. You just can't kill those hugging brothers. I had it once in that master lost sector on cosmodrome... I left after wasting 10 minutes to kill them in that clusterfuk area before the boss. Tried it again and just killed the overload before he glitched. Its a sh1t mechanic that is a result of lazy design.
-
2 RepliesUse 7th Seraph Officer Revolver with Timed Payload. Works like a charm and frees your exotic slot.

Edited by Hawpy: 8/5/2021 3:43:49 PMDivinity is hands-down the best weapon for dealing with Overloads. It has been overshadowed by Breach & Clear when it comes to the debuff, but the crit bubble is still a great asset and the fact that it instantly stuns Overloads, instead of needing prolonged fire, makes it the most consistent weapon against them. It certainly saved me and my team's lives on numerous occasions during GM Glassway this week.

Sunset overload champions, but replace them with overload screebs
-
10 RepliesYo everyone’s being kind of a dick so lemme help you out… basically all you have to do is burst dps quickly in between constantly spamming your overload shot. Example: overload Minotaur coming at ya 1) overload smg/hand cannon to stun 2)witherhoard for breach and clear 3) lasting impression rocket 4) spam overload shot even if it can’t be stunned again yet (this is because overload shot stops health regen even without a stun) a stun essentially just gives you time To damage without hitting overload shot on it to keep health low I could be crazy, but that’s just one of many ways to deal with them
-
Once you learn how to deal with them they are not hard at all.
-
12 RepliesSunset low skill players
-
Remove champions altogether, all they do is force you to use the weapons they want you to use and take up a mod slot. p.s.: The easiest way to stop overloads is Divinity, it will stop them on the first hit.
-
1 ReplyGotta love when they move whilst Stunned and just murder you
-
Champion is fine but only overload is so buggy it’s need address
-
It’s very funny to see how easy to deal with and systematic they are on PC, and how broken they are on consoles. No need to remind who actually brought the PC version of this game.

13 RepliesEdited by The Last Guardian: 8/4/2021 7:28:38 PMI am in the minority here. I actually like how challenging they are. I think it can be hilarious when an overload fallen captain just gets teleport happy and bounces all over the place as I watch my blueberry teammates spin in circles trying to find him, just to get ultra instinct clapped from behind :'D I personally enjoy the fear they bring to the game, makes the game suspenseful. God forbid we actually have challenges in the game. All of this whining just tells me some of you have never experiences Diablo Hardcore mode.
-
Just wait untill they nerf Anarchy and you have to kill them with rockets or a sword ,then the fun really begins.
-
1 ReplyI agree that they need to be fixed. Was running the GM last night and the Captains would stun but would regen health even when maintaining fire on them. Was using Divinity, tried constant fire as well as tapping the trigger. So much ammo used. I don't think they are too much of an issue in lower difficulty NFs because you can melt them easily, but in GMs they are a pain the in butt.
-
18 RepliesMinotaurs are fine. Overload Fallen Captains are broken.
-
Use a 180 hand cannon. Posterity wrecks them.
-
1 Replywe crush overloads in grand master nightfalls in seconds. they literally are EZ mode. throw some anarchy at them and boom they die instantly. or witherhoard or.....
