So…finished two runs of New Vegas…
Finished one for Mr.House and eventually went back to do it with the NCR. All I can say is…
- I somehow enjoyed Arcade and Veronica the most. Shame I had to kill Veronica in the first run, but hey; that means the second run, I can actually keep Veronica alive! I loved how she seemed so chipper and her story regarding the stagnant Mojave Brotherhood; and honestly, she helped me the most during my second run. Helps when I eventually ended up building my shotgun build in the second run.
Arcade was just the definition of snark incarnate. Which I found absolutely hilarious. Also, Enclave. So bonus points there.
Cass and Lily were close seconds though (this was only after I caught myself up on literally everything regarding Fallout 1 and 2. Made more sense to me.)
- I enjoyed House’s run more. Maybe it was because Odo voiced him, maybe it’s because he’s mostly right about things regarding the various factions of the Mojave (until Ulysses came around). Or maybe it was because the NCR wanted me to pay taxes and the Legion were underwear incarnate. Minus Lanius.
-Favorite DLC: Bear Bull Bear Bull. That should tell you enough.

3 RepliesI usually choose NCR, chose only them my first run and it was a bit too crazy. Second run I had Yes Man, NCR, Brotherhood of Steel, and the Boomers. Yes Man and BoS helped clear the first part of Hoover Dam, Boomers did bombing runs with the B29, and the Veteran Rangers didn't all die on the second part of the Dam. Great game, so many choices and endings, and play-styles.

7 RepliesHouse is always my default faction. He was my first choice, and even after doing the other factions I still just think he’s right. Cass is always my default partner. Honestly, I’m not entirely sure why I like her. I would’ve thought I’d hate her. My favorite DLC is Dead Money. I love everything about that DLC, though I do wish you could take the partners back into the main game.

[/quote] Also maybe because House is pretty much the best option out of the main 4 for the Mojave, future is a bit blurry. Also if ya ain't playing luck 10 speech 100 shotties why would you bother.

2 RepliesNice! It's still one of my favorite games. I think I did every play through except maybe House, but I added a bonus one where I killed every one on sight. That was a challenge.

1 ReplyEvery time I play this game I end up doing the NCR ending. Maybe because there are a lot of locations in Fallout 1, 2, and New Vegas that I recognize, and I feel like I'm being disloyal by not siding with them... Anyway, Honest Hearts and Lonesome Road are some of my favorite DLCs for the game. I'm glad you seemed to enjoy it.
