I could go on and on about why I'm no longer going to play D2 but the thing that's [u]really[/u] killed it for me is Bungies greed and their disrespect of their players. As far as I'm concerned D2 is just going to sit there gathering dust while I have an actually enjoyable experience in it's predecessor. And no, I'm not going to be back next season or the next DLC, I'm not coming back until Bungie get their act together but I have very little faith that will ever happen, so this is it. Also the Leveling System is shit cause by the time I grind out the Levels, I’m already burned out and end up not doing the End Game Content. I’d much prefer the quick leveling to max power that Vanilla D2 had cause I was able to raid with my friends who didn’t want to do it with me before. Bungie seems to think Leveling is Content and it’s not its progression and progression should not be slowed with an awful leveling system. Like who the hell ties leveling to RNG/Loot? Having a system based on solely XP like Borderlands does, like Diablo 3 does etc. I have a miles long list of reasons I retired from Destiny as a Vet as well but I don’t want to bore anyone with it. I stay on the forums though and keep my characters in the hopes Bungie course corrects and stops hiding good shit through Eververse like Transmog etc. so Bungie still makes shit decisions. So I put it down for other Games like Warframe etc.

I agree 100 percent. I felt the exact same way when I stopped playing 2 years ago! I care about the game and wanted it to get better, but realized it never would.

I just came back a week ago since last June and man this game is disappointing, grinding to a high enough level to get into the lost sectors to get exotics is horrible. All of my stuff is useless, and IB dropped last night, I think great a chance to get caught up...one or two banged by fkn EVERYTHING. Yeah the FOMO thing has killed D2 unfortunately.

I 100% agree with everything you stated in the post, I too am beginning to get annoyed with the amount of poor choices bungie is making its definitely off putting. Whenever I'd get on my console to play I used to get constant urges to play D2 however those urges are pretty much all but gone, I do hope you find a much better replacement for this game I've also reinstalled D1 and having enjoyed it so much more than D2 recently, I'll continue to play D2 up till the next dlc and wait for feedback from that before deciding to throw my time into it Take care little light

I played destiny when Xur sold Gjallarhorn . I used "For the people"auto rifle In pvp, I got Thorn in D1 solo, I might have broken a controller out of frustration because of that big ogre. With help of strangers in the game, I got both Lunas& NF. I had good and bad days. I understand you don't like where this game is headed, but think of all those memories & trust me I played other games.I see Destiny brought me back exactly like a moth flying into a hot lightbulb. To burn me again.But I still enjoy it. Give yourself a long break, Destiny will be here.Good luck Guardian!
