Help me understand how those two things are still in the game as they are and haven’t been touched. Behemoth is so obviously OP with duration and armor in super. Duskfield nades reward misses more than precision. How are these things left out of any attempts or passes at balancing ?

7 RepliesWarlock stasis gets nerfed into the ground within a week. Hunter/titan receive the slightest nerf in history after months. You draw your own conclusion.
-
7 RepliesHunters are a much bigger issue. I am not worried about Titans at all. The super is literally the worst stasis super and the neutral game is fairly weak. Entire teams getting frozen by shatter dive Hunters and we have this complaint. It makes no sense.
-
39 RepliesI only play warlock and titan for IB. Just got stasis on my titan.. the super is ok, I’ve been knocked out of it a few times. It does require a level of aim for the charging part. Definitely not D1 Bladedancer OP. The subclass is good, but I haven’t been setting IB on fire with it

Argeed in the pull of the nade cus thats stupid but not the biggest issue. I do think that while i feel supers should be strong and powerfull the range of the "freeze" from the hunter super is way to big and at times go's through walls. It lasts a while and if compared with a novabomb wich is a fire forget aswell then the novabomb aint really feels like a bomb cus the blast radius is like half of the freeze pulse the hunter does. Bottom line either increase novabomb blast radius or lower the freeze pulse radius a bit for the hunter. And titan is a little to tanky yea but its not that big of a problem imo so maybe a slight durarion nerf but thats it

I find the slow effects from the hunter dodge and melee way to overpowered as well. 6 seconds being a aimless sitting duck is not a fun way to play this game.

8 RepliesEdited by Soupreem: 2/6/2021 9:31:25 PMIMHO: - Duskfield succ shouldn't be as huge in terms of range or power - Glaciers still need a damage nerf, they still act as pocket nukes, on top of already being Mei walls. - Slow needs the weapon accuracy penalty outright removed and pick one or two that aren't raw move speed to remove, too. - The break out animation needs to be faster. - Behemoth needs to be redesigned. It's currently got the speed of the Flash but with abilities that allow for tankiness like the Juggernaut. It needs to go full into one of the two. I'd probably have Cryoclasm not be a speed buff but have it be like D1 Juggernaut on slides with a single use and longer cooldown. And reduce the speed of the lunges on super and melee (but make the melee a bit more useful in other areas). - Shatterdive shouldn't have armor - And I might also redesign Shadebinder a bit, too.

1 ReplyEdited by Lull9: 2/7/2021 7:10:51 AMDuskfield grenades: -Slow you -Reduce ability regen -Suppress jumps -Reduce ADS speed, ADS move speed, reload speed, handling, recoil direction -Reduce Accuracy They freeze you so fast you immediately have to choose to: a) fight back (you're fucked) b) run away (you're fucked) Absolutely insanely OP.

I don't understand why Duskfield has a stronger pull the farther away the target is from its epicenter and more importantly to note why it pulls from outside the spheres influence.

Edited by JazzyPaladin477: 2/7/2021 5:35:29 PMBecause freezing a shatter dive hunter with a dusk field and then yeeting the victim off the map...is just plain hilarious. Without duskfield you cannot go full send yeeeet. Everyone knows you can’t nerf hilarious things. It’s the new trip mine unicorn. Bungie had no choice but to bring that back....because it is hilarious.

STOP TRYING TO MAKE EVERYTHING USELESS SMFH
-
It's getting looked at, theyve done warlock melee, hunters shatterdive, titans super will be next
-
Agreed. I think if the ‘pull’ of the disk field was halved it might be ok. In general I also think all ‘slow’ effects should be reduced so you still have a chance to fight when slowed. Behemoth didn’t need extra time to be nerfed, it was obviously broken when they did the shatterdive patch and I was hoping that at the launch of the new season these changes would be made - it doesn’t look that way.
-
I'm still looking at hunters and silence and Squall and shatter dive.
-
duskfield feels stronger after the other grenade nerfs
-
I knew duskfield would be next after shatterdive. Let's hope they give it the same treatment 😅😜

1 ReplyWhat puzzles me is the laundry list of effects that Stasis Slow incurs. Why so many? And why the hell does it have the means to drastically reduce your accuracy?
-
2 RepliesEdited by RussellMania: 2/6/2021 5:17:18 PMI don’t understand it either. They can’t use the excuse that they don’t have the resources to devote to sandbox balancing. Until recently, Respawn literally had 1 guy working on sandbox balancing for Apex (now it’s 2 guys) and they do full sandbox patches every season, including major foundational changes (like re-working abilities, hitboxes, class traits, etc.) as well as small tweaks.

1 ReplyWhat a shocker. More PvP complaining Zzzzzzzzz......
-
Behemoth just needs a slight armor reduction and a time reduction. Duskfield grenades just shouldn't pull on you if you aren't inside it.
-
In summary When slowed caused by duskfield grenade Slow will reduce movement speed Reduce ability regeneration rate Suppress movement abilities Reduce ADS speed Reduce ADS move speed Reduce Weapons reload speed Reduce Weapon handling Worsen Weapon kick direction Reduce weapon accuracy (you will get ghost bullets when fired point blank) Duskfield freezing titan barricade will grant hedrons Duskfield freezing enemy glaciers will grant hedrons Duskfield freezing friendly glaciers will grant hedrons All from an easy to use grenade.....oh and I forgot the actual freezing mechanics and it pulls you out from position, this is an utter nonsense and has be be fixed for next season

Edited by xTh3XPr0g1dyx: 2/6/2021 8:58:24 PMWe hear you, nerfing warlocks again
-
13 RepliesHow would you change the grenade and keep it usable? Without the pull it doesn't have much use in pvp, same with the slow. So how can they nerf it without completely destroying it?
-
6 RepliesYeah behemoth super is super strong, but it doesn't need to be nerfed as badly as shatter dive, dusk grenades, slow debuff or the warlock melee.
-
8 RepliesI just want the Titan slide to get nerfed. Even if it was about as good as dunemarchers slide that would still be pretty overpowered. If you think about the perks in light based subclasses, most stuff is fairly passive (like a 5% or so sprint increase or something.)
-
13 RepliesBehemoth has sub par tracking that requires some aim and timing, ontop of that it’s extremely easy to get picked off mid super. What exact part is OP about behemoth?
-
Not a warlock. So they drag ass nerfing it.
