Bungie doesn't listen
Bungie doesn't listen or they have a very selective ear when it comes to pvp. We have been screaming and begging bungie to balance pvp properly instead of just constantly buffing things but some how they hear none of it. Anyone that plays pvp know that its an absolute cluster -blam!- of fast killing weapons and special but bungie thinks its fine and continues to just buff things make other weapons irrelevant. Bungie complains about how we don't use weapon variety but how could we use other weapons. How can we change our load outs if they just give us powerful weapons to depend on. Bungie really needs to start nerfing instead of buffing because lately they have only been buffing weapons. We need proper balancing. Will bungie fix pvp? Probably not. I'm sure they will act like pvp is perfectly balanced and isn't filled with guns that melt you faster then d2 year 1 laser tag.

I haven’t played in months, but the PVP posts on these forums has become more numerous and extra spicy since I left. That’s subjectively speaking, of course. It’s one reason why I’m not exactly jumping back in to test the waters. I’m playing MCC instead of Destiny these days, and the speed at which I find matches is... illuminating. Even if I wanted to something obscure like BTB territory control only, I feel like I can find a match faster or as fast as the main Destiny PVP playlists

15 RepliesLol! Just because people post suggestions doesn't mean they need to follow them. Most people suggest stuff that is selfish, Bungie needs to look at the health of the game for the whole community. Destiny is a looter shooter. If they make all the guns equal and balanced then there is no reason to get new guns, they are all the same. When they make stand out weapons, it creates drive to get them, then they need them and then new guns are strong. Aka, go and get loot and shoot.

One look at any of their twitter accounts will show them having a blast not giving a fk about anything anyone says about the game unless it's a suggestion for some useless shit like a transmat effect or something else they want to see recycled.

I'm sorry, but if they haven't been able to do it now for 6 years, they will never be able to. You also have to consider this game isn't just PvP that it's not meant to be balanced. So knowing they have tried with the base game and -blam!-ed up this entire game because of that, 3 years later this game is still suffering from that. You guys need to realize knowing it's 6 years later with this sandbox that asking this company to do something they literally can not do is a joke now. Sure, there are ways they can adjust things, but this sandbox for 6 years now has always [b](over-corrected themselves,)[/b] with just about everything in this game and that alone should give every single one of you that ask for this illusion a clue. Stop asking for something that is impossible for this company to ever do, mind you, I said this company. See, they don't know how to create or balance weapons so they can compete with one another and try to give you PVP players that carrot to chase at the same time. There are always going to be broken weapons in PVP and there will always be nerfed that mess with the rest of the game making this entire game unbalanced. And because of that, posts like this have been popping up for 6 years and will continue throughout this game's lifespan asking for nerfs or buffs, a never-ending cycle.

The last major buffs being the "Go Fast" and Forsaken update, most small ones only shift the meta that is simply taking the place of one that was nerfed. This is what makes weapons irrelevant, not to mention its looking like they're going back to their old ways that's known to fail( also sunsetting will -blam!- variety ). D2 vanilla was garbage as it was supposed to be balanced but shit still got -blam!- about and subsequently nerfed.

PvP can't be balanced. 😂 Too many perks, mods, abilities, min/maxing stats, etc. Too many changes to all that, and they risk killing the PvE side. Not that their last run if nerfs didn't cripple it enough already or anything. So yeah, if no one ever told you, Bungie doesn't take Crucible seriously. It's only there because obligatory PvP in online shooter game.

On the contrary, there’s far more weapons and archetypes in desperate need of major buffs. Maybe what you’re referring to is change special ammo economy and make other primaries more viable?

No bungie doesnt need to start nerfing weapons because that will just change the 'meta' to whatever is the last to be nerfed and it will just be a train until all weapons dont do damage. in my personal opinion pvp is in the best state since the game released. im able to get 40 kills using my favourite loadouts, and then can play exotic roullete and still drop 30's with ease (Im on console btw). They do not need to nerf weapons you just have to use a weapon that you find enjoyable enough to get consistent with it. The first time i used thorn i got barely 15 kills now i can get 35 plus. stop complaining about the game and just put in the effort to increase your skill. OR IF YOU DONT WANT TO JUST USE THE SAME GUNS AS THE ENEMIES!

Yes they do. They always say there listening. That would make them liars. Is that what your trying to say right now? That the XP throttling, stealth nerfing, most rewarding public event ever, respecting players time, that mountain over there, reward veteran players, another hidden chest in VOG, renewed PvP focus company are liars? You are playing the pvp that is part of a loot-based rpg, and share the same sandbox of weapons and abilities with pve. Pve that requires that some weapons be visibly more powerful than others. The closest this game ever came to being balanced for pvp was vanilla D2: fixed weapon rolls; armor with fixed stats; long ability cooldowns; readily countered supers; 1.0 second TTK; 4v4 pvp.... ....and the result was that it nearly destroyed the franchise. The pvp was boring (anyone still crowing about how [i]fun[/i] Valorant is to play?), and the changes nearly destroyed the pve side of the game.

1.pvp isn't priority (yes it's in a shity state but it's been that's way forever) 2.Buffing and needing are complained about equally whenever something gets nerfed or buffed it is -blam!- at and liked equally so they don't care anymore and decide to do what's best for the game and makes it fun for all people instead of catering towards one side or the other think of it as mix they do both 3. Pvp has never been more balanced there are way more variety of weapons that work u can use anywhere from a handcanon to a autorifle to special to heavy and it all has realitivly the same ttk besides special.

not ever weapon has to be allowed in PvP. some guns that have no skill should never be allowed. bungie are to busy making micro transactions and season pass boosters to care about PvP
