Exotics are the Meta
Ok so let me get this straight. Bungie is sunsetting practically every gun but the ones that define the meta. Great plan guys. All you did was limit our creativity the meta is more rigid now. Gg

1 ReplyI think this is a good thing. Exotics are the most unique weapons and will become our ‘go-to’ weapons. I hope some of the lesser used ones are adjusted to be better options.

I disagree with a mountain of things Bungie has done, but moving exotics back closer to where they started in D1 isn't one of them. An exotic was [i]it[/i], there was a reason you can only equip one. Limit creativity? Yes, I will agree that it limits theoretical creativity. But from the what is actually in practice, I disagree that they are hurting the meta. It's still the same five or six legendary guns (either static roll or a small mix of god roll) that make up the top usage, if anything exotics are under-represented in the current meta.
