You can use the basic defender build I use. Helm Saint 14 + Bubble (Top Tree Sentinel) You get supressors, a hefty bubble to control areas, super helpful in overtime, you blind enemies who go in your bubble, you deal extra damage, you get an overshield upon exiting the bubble thanks to Saint-14. So you're basically a tanking machine that can take down supers with a shotgun melee combo, blind enemies and buff your allies. Not to mention if running a high impact sniper like revoker you can 1 shot body people Be careful though, Nova Bomb and 3 shot golden gun easily counter you. The rest, well not so much.

  • GG can't break bubble. Not to mention you're basing this entire assessment on the use of your super which you get for maybe two rounds?

  • I mean, you can use your defender melee which gives overshield? Supressors? And yes, the whole point of this build is to control zones and be a tank. Thats why its called Defender.

Well ya, Celestial can not only kill bubbles but also kill the Titan inside the bubble. But that's a One-shot GG not a three-shot GG as you mentioned. Also no one in their right mind would ever use that for the exact same reason I just mentioned earlier.

That was my go to during IB last season. Controlling heavy was fun. Is it as useful in 3v3 formats? Only advantage I see in that situation are the suppressors. Has a hard time feeling effective to countering the general mobility advantages of hunters and warlocks.

  • Its useful in 3v3 formats. Ive personally made it to legend and got my unbroken by running that set-up. Useful for controlling heavy too, mid zones. Sure you are kinda reliant on your super but melee overshield is super helpful in tanking a shot that would have possibly killed you.
