Witnessed the biggest noob play ever
So I was in gambit... A team of 3 was on the opposing team with 1 blueberry.
The 3 stack left so the poor guy was on his own. Once the solo got his portal open he invaded, which obviously meant no one would be on his side to kill and collect.
So what does my blueberry do as soon as we were invaded... He jumps through our portal...

If you lose a 4v1 gambit, its not that blueberry that was the issue pal. All honesty that blueberry did pretty much the same thing as if the guy was over there.

It would've been hilarious if he had a full stack and did it just to avoid getting killed, then the solo guy reappears on his side after the invasion, and kills your blueberry teammate who was invading with 15 motes.

Edited by CaptainW1nky: 1/31/2020 12:43:54 AMMy favorite are the guys that don't know you get a damage buff in prime while standing in the circle at each "dps station"... but instead stand in randon areas unloading all their heavy/special etc barely tickling the boss. I'd imagine they are also the guys that don't know you are supposed to capture zones in control.

Why just the other day I was gambiteering with the clan and I boldly invaded with 10 motes. Did I survive and kill someone? Yep. Did I bank? Nope, those 3 were still killing blockers and their invader got me. But here’s the thing, we came back in third round. I work in mysterious ways. Plus, there was no way I would of been able to kill all those blockers and bank. 8 win streak too

Maybe he was afraid of being killed. Invading is the only safe place at that moment. If that’s the case it was the smartest play in the history of Gambit.

8 RepliesThat's not as bad as the typical blueberry running around with 15 motes still killing enemies and trying to collect more motes, or the idiot that has 13 motes run past the bank instead of depositing what he has because he thinks he's doing us a favor by trying to drop 15 motes when we only needed 3 to get our prime to spawn. It happens all the time and it's one of the reason I stay out of the shit show called "gambit". Three of us all deposit our motes and we need only a few more to get our prime to spawn when we all see the last guy running towards the bank with 10+ motes in tow and we all watch in horror as the idiot runs past the bank trying to go for 15 instead of just depositing what he had to get the boss to spawn. What always happens is we get invaded and that moron will get killed with all his motes and then instead of being in the lead and already working on our prime evil we'll have to go and collect the few remaining motes ourselves. What's even more horrifying is after they get killed with all their motes, if given the chance they will AGAIN try to get 15 motes (despite only needing 3 or 4). We actually sat and watched someone do this after getting pissed at the guy when he got killed the first time trying for a useless 15. We stopped playing and just followed the guy around. P.S. Yes I understand he may be trying to complete a bounty or something but FFS man we only needed 3 of the 12 or so you had to get the boss spawned. Go for your 15 next game when it may actually be useful.

3 RepliesI've seen much worse. He might not have realised the other team left, or maybe he just wanted to survive while being invaded so he could work on medals/triumphs. It's the ones that insist on getting 15 motes, even when you only need a few to get off that crucial first invade - they are the worst. 9 times out 10 the other team gets the first invade instead and then that blueberry gets killed with all those motes. I see that far too often and that truly is the 'noob play'.

You do know he probably jumped through there 1: not knowing the other guys left or 2: didn't want to take the chance to be killed because of dumb ass bounties in this game.

3 RepliesI have a thought, and here me out. He doesn’t care about gambit or anything and he was just mindlessly playing the game like most of us. Nobody cares about gambit man. I run it to clear bounties and have no regard for wins or losses or invaders or anything. Just killin time after work

As if you’ve never portaled away because you can’t be bothered getting killed by the invader. If he had heaps of motes that’d be really clever actually because there would be no one on the enemy team to kill him while he invaded.
