I totally agree that if we had 10000 vault slots, some portion of the player base would still fill their vault and that would be ridiculous...
...BUT to keep adding 50, 100, 100+ items a season and NEVER increase vault space is even more ridiculous.
And it doesn't help that "collections" is only partially functional. We get all this stuff that can't be pulled from collections can never be reobtained, can't be used as ornaments, etc.
Can we at least get a +50 vault increase every season to account for new items? SOMETHING?
Edit: OR how about old armor becomes ornaments? Or choose to "store" one randomly rolled version of each item in collections. Or we can pull random rolls from collections for 100 legendary shards? Etc.

Agreed. Armor 2.0 with activity specific mods and random stats, elemental affinity on exotics, bunch of new weapons on every season, sandbox changes and meta shifts... 500 was enough before shadowkeep, but not anymore.

3 RepliesSo strange, these forums would have believe there’s no loot...certainly not enough to fill up 500 spaces of extra inventory
-
Imagine thinking you have 500 well rolled weapons

1 ReplyOh good Lord....there’s a A&E TV show about folks with this condition called Hoarders. Ya gotta let go of it bro,.....ya just gotta let go....
-
Oh yeah, i forgot you need 500 static rolled aeon swifts 😂

2 RepliesEven if you are someone who doesn't need more space, how can anyone be against adding more space for the players that like to collect loot?

71 RepliesThere's no way you need more than 500 spaces

3 RepliesImagine having a full vault... Maybe stop hoarding shit when you can pull it from collections.

31 RepliesEdited by michael: 12/11/2019 3:37:06 PMYou cannot tell me you have 500 weapons and armour pieces that you use on even a semi regular basis. I have 400 left and even with that I feel like I hold on to too much.
-
12 RepliesYou really don't need 18 separate god rolled pulses, or hand cannons or whatever. You can pretty safely get rid of most old armour as well.
-
2 RepliesI believe it’s to do with hardware restrictions.

500 spaces is more than any online game I've ever played. The next closest I can think of is Fallout 76 at 400, but it could have changed. I don't play that garbage anymore. Delete shit. It's a video game and one day it will all be gone anyway.
-
5 Replies500 is more than enough and more space than a lot of games offer. Ive never seen a community act this way over inventory space and storage space the way this community does. If 500 isn't enough you are doing something wrong plain and simple. Recognize whats worth keeping and whats not worth keeping

2 RepliesWhat they could do with collections is instead of making it impossible to reacquire randomized gear is allow players to set a specific roll they like as a default, that way they can smash gear they don't use all the time and then reacquire it from collections at a later date. Bungie could even add a sort of "legend rule" where you can only have one copy of the gear in existence at a time (or two if you hang on to the original). BUT they probably won't do anything of the sort...

1 ReplyI dont mean to be that guy, but what do you even have stoed in your vault that takes up a lot of room? I can understand raid gear and what not, maybe some god roll weapons, but past that what is taking up that much space?
-
More vault space would be nice especially with the items that keep getting added to inventory that I have to throw in vault to make space for the next item. I have gone though and deleted A LOT of things in the past that I thought wouldn't be as good as others. Then Bungie nerfs things and buffs other things and now I wish I hadn't gotten rid of it cause now I am spending hours and hours grinding for something I already had but didn't have room to keep.
