It should be decreased draw time on a PRECISION KILL, not a HIP FIRED PRECISION SHOT.
That is all.
Edit: guess I’ll clarify. I’m on console. I’m aware PC is a different story, everything is a different story on PC.
Guess I’d say just alter Archer’s Gambit to proc on hip fired crits AND precision kills. Precision kills whether ADSing or not. No, it wouldn’t be overpowered. It might be almost META, but god forbid we have something other than the Crucible pinnacle weapons be the Crucible meta, right?
Throw console a bone.

1 ReplySubtle calamity with rampage and explosive head masterwork for draw time and got it down to 725. Two taps like crazy
-
Agreed. At its current state, it's not even able to compete with most Crucible weapons. Let alone the Meta.
-
1 ReplyIt’s decent at best, WAY better then the Oxygen. That’s said I haven’t touched Hush since I got it after trying it out for abit
-
2 Repliesi dont get it you're asking for a nerf
-
3 RepliesBows were a bad idea.
-
4 Repliesor just completely rework Hush and un-nerf Oathkeepers....
-
1 ReplyCompletely depends on how good you are with bows. My friend mains it now. He used it during our Shattered Throne clear with several "it's so fast" moments. He also successfully uses it in Gambit (watched him get the "4 the hard way" triumph last night).

I’m pretty meh about the hush. It’s the only item I have not chased in gambit . So many great options and avow was offered up😂

Throw console a bone.[/quote] It's very circumstantial I'm sure. It has the same draw time as monarch... I think. So I would use it for long distance targets, and when they try and close the distance and fall into medium range that's when I think the archers Gambit shines in PvP and pve. Although can't pick it up and not expect to change your play style, weather your experienced with bows or not. Best bet is to retrain yourself with pve missions. So i think it can be a very versatile weapon, as far as ads for long range and use archers Gambit with medium range. Probably pair it with submachine, sidearm, or shotty for really close range.

1 ReplyI hate bows. I think scouts are allowed to be terrible because bows were introduced. I'm not Robin mother freakin Hood. Buff scouts.

1 ReplyHow to make Hush good for Crucible: Landing a headshot with Hush disables the microphone of the Guardian hit for four seconds. And then you just have the devs issue bans to anyone using Discord or third party communication platforms, or speaking to each other through Xbox Live or PSplus so players can’t get around the silence effect. Unfortunately it seems the devs would prefer people “have fun playing the game” and don’t want to “needlessly ban people who aren’t doing anything wrong, causing people to quit en masse”, rather than make Hush what it always should have been. i have such great ideas... makes you wonder why bungie repeatedly refuses to hire me and keeps calling security every time they find me sitting at one of their computers trying to change the code. / (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

I got a discount Hush which is the Spiteful Fang bow. Draw time is 600, hipfire, freehand grip and make orbs too. So I don't need Hush since I got this thing xD

Grinding gambit should already let you know the weapon will suck bags of dicks

1 ReplyGot forbid we have anything else than the comp pinnacle weapons being meta in any mode. Not just crucible. Seriously comp pinnacle weapons are too strong for pve and pvp. Other pinnacle are just neat to use. Buff weapons like Hush, breakneck ,oxygen. Revoker gives you a bullet back when missing. Hush requires you to hit a hipfire precision hit. How come the weapon from the supposed skill playlist helps the player for being bad. Breackneck, shoot faster per rampage. Requires to get a kill with it and probably have to reload as well. Recluse get a kill with any weapon including heavy and get a greater damage boost than rampage 3x and fast reload after each kill. Comp weapons have incredibly biased balancing to them. To make up the difference let other pinnacle weapons be strong too in pvp.

2 RepliesIt should be precision shot. Who hip fires a bow? They're not smgs or sidearms or automatic weapons. They're precision weapons. I just don't get the logic behind Bungie's weapon perk decisions.
-
It's counterintuitive. Same way hip fire grip on a sniper is counterintuitive
-
It’s pretty good on a boss since they have a big crit spot.
-
9 RepliesHush and Trinity both can be good but desperately need buffs. Of all Gambit pinnacle weapons the hush feels the weakest
-
2 RepliesIt's an absolutely terrible weapon. Literally any bow in the game is better than it.

Edited by Lethal: 8/9/2019 5:35:39 PMI think hush should work the way it is now in pve...but in pvp crit shots slow the target by -50% for the next 3-4 seconds. 2 tap arrowing without letting them get away. rewards skilled headshots and would be nasty. Of course scavenging 1 hit sniper users that always have ammo would still kill you anyways most of the time.
-
I may never find out. I just can't grind Gambit like that anymore. I'm burned out of the mode after getting 21% Delirium.
-
Agreed. I even added a hip fire grip mod to make it a little better. Nope.
-
When I got my calamity with snapshot and archers tempo, reload MW. I deleted hush for cores. It seemed like it was more useful to me that way.
-
Sitting in the vault along with most of the pinnacle weapons apart from mtop and recluse which will get nerfed then sit in the vault also. Only real reliable weapon has been loaded question
-
i does need looking at on console, the hip fire is its identity tho, maybe double its aim assist on hip fire shots and make the perk last longer.
