Mars Flashpoint in a nutshell:
Load in to Mars to find EP running in both locations.
Go run a lost sector. 10% progress.
Exit lost sector to find EP round is over, didn’t complete since only one guy fired it up.
Public event starts in 1 minute and some change.
Rally flag and wait with 3 or 4 other guardians.
At the last second, asshat troll runs up and starts another EP.
Looks like I’m running 9 more lost sectors.

6 RepliesStill better than mercury flashpoint. Plus what are you doing lost sectors and such for? Just run heroic adventures and do maybe one or two public events. Or just keep running adventures.

People do know that the second wave would be the PE version of EP, right? Why not burn through the first wave and do the PE...

Do the legendary mission from Ana Run 3 Lost Sectors and add in some bounties for fun. Done in minutes. Yes though the EP overriding the Public Event is maddening. Very much agree.

Ran the mission, two heroic public's and two lost sectors. Done. You know you can fast travel immediately to the same spawn point and get away from asshats right?

I made a post about updating EP and putting it on a separate server similar to starting a heroic adventure. Also suggested that it should be similar to Menagerie, matchmaking and launch from orbit. The problem was it was never responded to by Bungie

3 RepliesCompleting EP is worth around 40%, Adventure 25% then a few lost sectors or a single public event finishes it off its quicker to do a a run of EP than wait for public events.

Edited by GMDeece7: 6/19/2019 3:37:09 PMActually, I know how to complete the heroic adventure for flashpoint. Go to Ana, and click the purple adventure on he screen. It will immediately load the heroic adventure in game, with powerful rewards (and completion will bump up flashpoint by 35% I believe).

Sounds like the asshat troll was the only one who had a clue. EP is fun to run- lost sectors not so much.

Fast travel back a time or two to the same spawn where the PE is happening, chances are you'll join one without EP in progress. Also, you can complete the entire Flashpoint without doing one PE. Just do the Cabal Lost Sector. Go in until you start seeing the Cabal. Look to the left, you'll see a rock tower going up, and a bit beyond that the ledge where the glowing lost sector chest resides. Jump up the tower - there is a nook you can land on. Then jump over to the ledge. The boss will spawn, kill him and open the chest. Rinse and repeat 9 more times to complete Flashpoint. Total time - about 20-30 min.

Tuesday (June 19) was supposed to be heroic adventure as the daily but not only was it not the daily, the flag for it is missing altogether. Besides Mars (due to the escalation protocol being kicked off), Mercury is also an awful Flashpoint plant due to its rare public event. Heroic adventure is the best way to get it done. Suggestion to Bungie developers for Mars Flashpoint (pick one, whichever is easiest to code): A) Make Escalation Protocol count towards the Flashpoint. Since it can be kicked off whenever you want, maybe award 5% per completed wave. B) Add a public event in a different area, one without Escalation Protocol. Suggest a Warsat in Dynamo Approach. C) Disable Escalation Protocol in one location during Flash Point. Perhaps alternate the location at the daily reset.

i was able to do 4 PE's fairly easy. all i did was reload into that area, until i found an instance not running EP.
