🇺🇲 D-Day 75 years ago today my Pops was a young Sgt. Waiting for his LST to hit Omaha beach. Once that ramp hit the sand my Pops said all hell broke lose! I am very proud of the job he did helping to free Europe from Germany In 1968 I followed in his footsteps and was a young USMC Lt. In Vietnam. What got me through was thinking of him and the stories he shared with me when I was a kid. Thank you Dad and this old Marine still loves and misses you every day!
