Cannot connect to Destiny 2 servers.
Everytime I launch destiny 2 it says "Destiny 2 servers are not available", even though I know they are available because I see all my friends and other people playing. I tried to restart the game, restart my pc and scan and repair the game. Nothing worked. What do I do?

This has been happening all day. I have gotten several errors codes such as "weasel" and "baboon". I have run diagnostics, scan and repair, as well as followed the troubleshooting via the bungie website. The apparent packet loss is only happening with bungie servers. Every other program/game/service has no intermittent connection or issue. It would be nice to have some sort of official response or insight on the topic other than an automated response, as there seems to be a lot of threads related to connection issues in the past 2 days. Hopefully it gets resolved at least before the reset next week.

1 ReplyDid the "scan and repair" but it still gives "Contacting Destiny 2 Servers" and shuts down into Error code: Buffalo constantly every 15-20 mins.

For PC users scan and repair destiny 2 through the BLIZZ app as my file was complete and now it has "repaired" I am straight in.

I keep getting bounced between CABBAGE and COCONUT error codes (I'm in america, btw), and when I do manage to finally jump into the game, I'm almost instantly kicked back out due to: being unable to connect to Destiny servers and/or unable to connect to Playstation Network. It's really starting to piss me off since I need to finish up an Invitation of the Nine that I missed on my Titan, and I can't log in! If this goes over to the new season upon reset, I vote we riot and flood Bungie with messages to get this fixed!

I've also been having trouble with the game but my problem is regarding the Bygones not dropping at all even after i've already reset my gambit rank twice now and i still can't get the weapon for some strange reason so some help with this would be nice !

I have same issues on one of the xbox one. I am able to connect on my 2nd xbox s but cannot connect one the main xbox one s...please help.

I also enjoy being in a Gambit match, getting booted, with the message Destiny servers are down, then getting the "Oops you left a match" BS. Too bad Bungie won't move to dedicated servers, the cheap -blam!-.
