I wrote mine because I love the destiny universe to death, specifically the Eliksni so I felt compelled to write a story about it, if you don’t like it why even go to a place you might find it? I didn’t care if people disliked it or not or even if nobody read it because i still felt good after making it So yeah, I think it’s rather unkind of you to make a post like this, fan fiction is what keeps lore communities alive sometimes Granted, I’m not defending NSFW fanfic, that stuff nasty

If they derive satisfaction from creating said fan fiction, that is the reward. Any kudos from the community is just icing. Maybe they’re aspiring writers or enjoy world building as a break from daily monotony. Stay creative and keep writing folks, some of us understand and/or appreciate it.
