I completed the ascendant challenge 6-7 times
And the chest at the end never appeared. Why has Bungie still not fixed this? This is the only ascendant challenge that has any sort of difficulty, and 100% of that difficulty is rolling the dice to see if the chest will appear this week or not. I even went back to the landing zone, and orbit, and it still didn't help.

1 ReplyI've completed the challenge many times and have never taken the sword with me. I think the chest just disappears after a few minutes, so if I fall off the cliff, I just miss out.

As they said take the sword with you. You can drop the sword and shoot the snipers then pick it back up and carry on. If you fall off you have to start over.

You need to take the sword with you to the chest.

I might be wrong but I think you can drop the sword to clear enemies, but you need to have it with you when you get to the end
