Storm can be shut down with shotguns (and everyone is running those) or the new jotuun. Nova warp is terrible and went after a group of three yesterday and didn’t get a single one in two blasts. Dawn blade is one great super on the bottom tree and slow va bomb is slow...... Hunter blade barrage is how a shut down super should feel. It’s easier to use more effective and often nets more kills for spaced out opponents. On my hunter I literally dodged a slow va bomb and regularly out run it’s seekers.
-
Really? Nova warp is complete ass now. And not just for PvP but for PvE as well. Storm caller is.....eh yeah it’s good to use sometimes in PvP but it’s duration is nothing compared to spectral blades. Dawnblade is pretty good But other things still outclass it.
-
If anything, warlocks need an exotic that lets them use storm caller for a longer time. It’s a fantastic super in the right hands already. An exotic would give is a playing field with SB and sentinel/smash
-
crown of tempest, also if you are running the ionic blink stormcaller tree and you pop your super with your other abilities fully charged your super lasts longer.
-
Crown of tempest
-
I thought it only increased the time, not refill the super as you get a kill like the other exotics. I really can’t remember🤔
-
Yeah it let's you use storm for longer
-
Thats what should be an alternative perk on the Geomags honestly.
-
Ehh I don’t know about that. With the uproar of OEM and it’s multiple perks, I would say just make a chest piece that works like a superconductor or something.
-
The main problem that I saw with OEM was that the perk to activate it literally requires 0 skill. And perks you get for getting shot are insane it’s like 3 exotic perks at the same time.
-
Only one perk for getting shot. Then two perks as a reward for hunting and killing the person who shot you.

Bottom tree Dawnblade is the only skill tree in the entire Warlock class that can be considered a legitimate contender in high level PvP. Voidwalker is at or near the bottom statistically. Nova Bomb is comically slow in both activation and movement. I outran it more than once yesterday, something that is extremely difficult, usually impossible, to do against Blade Barrage. Slide around a corner and hug the wall and Nova Bomb won't catch you. Stormcaller has bad movement and doesn't kill fast enough against other supers. Death ray is hard to even see what you're shooting much of the time, especially at a distance. Nova Warp is now hot garbage, absolutely decimated by the recent update. Prior to the update, bottom tree Dawnblade and Attunement of Fission/ Nova Warp were top tier skill trees. Down to 1 of 9 now.
-
Dawnblade is the only usable pvp subclass and even w that its limited depending on the map since most maps are enclosed areas it's not as good as you say, nova warp is trash after over nerf, well of radiance and chaos reach are good but not in pvp, nova bomb is good but again not viable in most maps since small and enclosed areas, nova bomb and dawnblade are good given a wider open map but those are few and far between also none of those supers are able to shut down anything as opposed to titans and hunters who have plenty of roaming and shutdown supers

You said it brother

Edited by willjay67: 2/20/2019 7:09:05 PMThey are still not on par with the prowess of hunters and titans in crucible...our exotics also lacks.
-
Nova warp is terrible. Stormcaller is also terrible due to its terrible movement and range.
-
And duration compared to other supers.
