So anyone else have this problem with ballistic logs? Not the weekly reset thing.
So I got them, but I can't use them, Ada-1 just decided to stop selling the powerful gear version of the frames you get from ballistic logs... is this a glitch, or is it a daily thing, or? But I can't seem to use my ballistic logs after I did gofannon, and yes, I do have them. Heck, She is only selling the sniper frame for the module logs. No hand cannon. Can someone explain to me whats going on here?

3 RepliesYou can only complete one powerful frame per week . No matter which forge you use . So in other words you can earn multiple ballistic logs per week max 2 . Then only use one for you one and only powerful gear drop . Then they go by by . Funny how bungie always figures out a way to -blam!- ya .

They are only 'Powerful' ok nice a week, then you can re buy them to try and get better rolls.

I had the ringing nail frame in my inventory and unlocked the sniper frame while progressing towards the gofannon forge, which allowed me to hold both frames at once. I got them both to the last step (complete volundr forge and complete gofannon forge) and started with the volundr forge, but it consumed both frames upon completion :( I had to spend another ballistic log to get the sniper frame AGAIN and do it all over. Very disappointing.

2 RepliesEdited by AlexFi1978: 12/17/2018 11:51:55 AMIf you started this week with the first forge still to unlock (Volundr) then completing this and then unlocking Gofannon and completing its unlock counts as your Powerful Frames (as you will have received a powerful LMG and Sniper) and therefore it will automatically revert the Frames on offer to normal power and require only Modulus logs to get and acquire.

1 ReplySame here. I’ve got the weekly bounty ready to turn in for a ballistic log but am holding onto it until after reset. Nothing for my 2nd character to use them for. FYI. I’ve heard that ballistic logs mysteriously vanish from a player’s inventory after reset. Yet another issue that needs to be addressed.

4 RepliesIt’s some sort of glitch. Bungie is investigating, they say. It seems to happen on second/third characters (from posts I’ve seen) but I’m not sure that’s 100%. For me, I lost access to the handcannon frame in my 3rd character’s run-through.

I dont but i could swear they go missing for me. Also yesterday i was on my third character, i unlocked second forge and done the sniper quest (i Didnt have a choice) and there was no hand cannon quest for me. whats all that about?

I have only been able to do handcannons all week with modulus but no sniper frames after the 1st one. I also have a remaining ballistics log. They need to have a frame available for each forge per week imo.

You can only do two powerful frames a week per character. If you save a Ballistics Log for the next reset it will be gone.

It worked for my first character, which i compleded both frames for EDZ forge last week. Character 2 and 3 (which i didn't completed EDZ last week, but did it this week instead I only got a sniper frame as powerful and didn't get the handcannon frame at all).

1 ReplyYou can only get one of each "Powerful" version, the one requiring Ballistics Logs, per week. The rest are just regular legendary drops but require Modulus Reports and fewer quest steps to prepare the frame. I'm not sure if that helps or not. I've only bought one Ballistics Log frame and 1 Modulus Report frame. Not sure if theres a limit on the Modus ones or not.

7 RepliesIt seems that after you acquire a frame with a ballistic log, you can reacquire the same frame with Modulus Reports. At least that is how I see it. It makes sense not having to spend another Ballistic Log if you already had acquire it. The frames seem to also have some kind of funky rotation, still can’t figure it out. Ada was selling, at the beginning, the Auto Rifle frame, but I haven’t seen her selling that one anymore, just snipers and hand cannons. For now, I’m saving the BL’s for the next forge.

3 RepliesSame. On my Hunter she sells only the hand cannon. On my Warlock she sells only the sniper. Neither of which require ballistic logs. I have two of them and nothing to do with them.
