Anti-meta users: What do you use?
I’d like to know what you guys use so I can try it out. I like the uncommon Mos Ultima II hand cannon. People get mad when they get killed by it.

Bygones with Kill Clip, Stability Masterwork and Counterbalance Mod. Anonymous Autumn with Moving Target, Kill Clip, Range Masterwork, and Counterbalance Mod. Wish my Bygones had better stats since it always looks like it's always giving me the middle finger because stability is so much higher than the other stats but the kill clip kinda makes up for it a bit.

I just back peddle and 2 tap with a high impact hc and a hunter melee. As for the smart shotgunners it depends on the map but mostly just keep tabs on ur radar for tiny blips

1 ReplyI personally use death by scorn and the infamous Bygones but and good side can keep a shotgunner at bay if your good at close range and for long range shut downs for most things (Luna ) use any good pulse rifle

Trinity Ghoul, smugglers word, oathkeepers. Smugglers used to finish off people you tag with TG :)

Militia's birthright and a quickdraw sidearm. If you don't get the instant kill, just insta-swap to the sidearm and one-tap. Completely broken if you're good with grenades. Shuts down shotgun apes at a mile away.

I've been in banner for the last 3 days with a main ingredient and Cerberus dropping 2.0+ games lol, found something fresh that is putting my playstyle in a new headspace and I'm having a blast

Huckleberry/ Conqueror 2 with subtle calamity and black talon as my power weapon if I’m not using huckleberry. If you’re a Titan you can run peacekeepers too. At long range just use the bow, if someone rushes you, get a shot off with the bow and switch to the smg and spray them down the rest of the way. Also Niflheim Frost and Main ingredient (mine has high impact reserves and under pressure) was actually a lot of fun. Getting kill clip on the scout gets it to 3 tap. Using the prospector in general is a lot of fun, just shoot all the nades at common doorways and wait to get free kills.

1 ReplyI like to feel like Robin hood so: No turning back bow Arsenic bite bow Black talon sword Night stalker hunter way of trapper Frost-ee5 exotic with 5 paragon mods for constant dodge invisibility. Gotta land first sneak shot during firefights or I will generally lose skirmish. I was really looking forward to oathkeeper exotic with this build but not after recent news of bungie not fixing draw time perk.

Wish Ender, Sol Pariah/Last Dance, Roar of the Bear Use Knucklehead Radar if you are a hunter. Combine very well with Wish Ender.

Rat King is super fun. It is a pretty decent pistol stat wise, and when the invisibility kicks in you just start snowballing "stealth kills". I also like using legendary fusion rifles, but after I got my Luna's Howl it has been pretty difficult putting that down for a fusion :/

Edited by N7_Dredgen: 11/21/2018 11:34:38 AMSUROS Regime. The unsung legend. ARs might not enjoy top spot on the meta list, but SUROS with the Dual Fire thing turned on hits like a truck when ADS. We're talking nearly x2 damage per shot than any other AR in the game does - and when in this firemode it's arguably the single most stable AR, period. It has a small chance to heal on kill like Crimson does, but it's not reliable. When the catalyst comes out (presumably next season) this will be 100% health on kill and even more stability. As a Warlock I pair this with my Chromatic Fire chest piece. This means my pinpoint accuracy due to the stability translates to free Firefly basically 24/7. Firefly might not be meta either - but goddamn this set up in the right hands murks both PVE and PVP. It's very rare somebody outkills me in strikes, for example, the add clearance abilities with this set up are quite good. The Chromatic fire is less effective in crucible but still has its times to help strip people's shields off when they hide beside their dying friend. SUROS on its own in PVP can go up against any meta gun player as long as you strafe and use caution. I've killed Luna users with it time and time again.
