Nova warp itself doesn’t need a nerf. If I die to it, it’s because I made an incorrect turn when evading and my death is deserved. My only complaint about the subclass is the melee skill. It’s actually bugged, and I’m sure many of you have noticed that it is. There’s issues in PvP where if the guardian you strike immediately strikes you back, they completely negate the pushback and the void explosion doesn’t occur but the melee charge will sometimes still be consumed. An appropriate fix would be to temporarily disable aim assist/melee lunge upon striking your enemy. This will prevent the push back from being canceled, the void explosion effect correctly being applied and the melee charge being consumed as it should.

That wouldn’t have any impact on the reason why people would leave a game. You’re stating this with the presumption that those same people only play pvp. Also, it’s hard to take a person seriously if you just waltz in and immediately start throwing around insults. Lastly, the player base for D2 is quite large right now, and isn’t declining “in droves” like you said.

You hit a guy and kill him, but don’t get the overshield or health back because he struck you with his melee at the same time you struck and killed him, so it negated your melee ability and consumed your melee charge. Same situation.
