Hunters are so trash in PvP right now
So severely outclassed it's unreal. We have one good super in blade barrage but it's only useful for a shutdown. Meanwhile Nova warp and hammers can just walk through the map wiping the team twice with ease.

1 ReplyHunter main here, been a Hunter main since D1. I play quite a bit of Crucible and just wanted to tell you that maybe the Hunter just isnt your thing. I can absolutely annihilate the field with my Hunter. I average over a 2.0+ pretty much every game and that's usually with 25-35 kills. It's possible you're playing the Hunter incorrectly or maybe you just weren't meant to be a Hunter. As of right now my only actual complaint about the Hunter is that compared to the other 2 classes, we dont have a 1 shot ability outside of Supers. That could easily be fixed if they were to add a 1 shot functionality to the Slide Uppercut from the Arcstaff tree. Other than this, the Hunter is just as good if not better considering our jump.

Uh no with nova warp you usually get team shot to death before you wipe the team once.

I play all classes(though admittedly, my Warlock's always neglected), and I'd argue that Hunters are the strongest class for PvP simply by nature of their jump, especially on console with the stupidly narrow FoV. Just learn how to maneuver and you're set. Here's a [i]long[/i] guide going in-depth about Hunter movement, because it's better(and often more entertaining) to learn from seeing and listening than reading a giant text wall. 3 RepliesLol. You are wrong. You can’t compare a roaming super to a shutdown super. Hunters have amazing neutral game in crucible. You want a roaming super use 6 shooter or arc staff. Blade barrage is amazing it counters everything.

All warlocks do is spam melee with it’s insane range, hit detection, and double damage. EASY MODE. I’m saw a warlock go up to a Titan who was in his HAMMER SUPER AND MELEE HIM OUT OF IT! Talk about easy mode. If a titan is in his hammer super, it should instill fear in everyone. To have the privilege to just run up to a titan that’s in his super and melee him out of it is bullshit. Everyone is afraid of gun fighting now because it’s so easy with your one hit kill grenades, ability spam. Warlocks are afraid to gun fight, I love getting supered when it’s a one on one and they realize they can’t gun fight for shit. Outclassed is an understatement. But, I’m here take my licks and try to do the best I can to adapt and overcome. It is the hardest crucible has ever been for me as a hunter especially running night stalker.

Hunter’s are amazing? I main one and love every second of it, wormhusk is still my go to, perfect for staying in the fight a little longer and with my 3 paragon mods I can potentially always keep my health up even mid combat. The dodge is perfect for peeking corners to which the whole enemy team is looking at and evade back into cover. The jump is crazy good for shotguns and mid air evading. Golden gun 6 shot is still awesome? You can spawn kill with that thing. Just because blade barrage requires no skill other then pressing the super button does not make it OP throwing knive’s explosion is perfect for people who are weak and hiding behind cover, throw knife at the side of said cover - kill With the chain of woe also on that class, you can reload lightning fast Even the new Arc strider, deflect just about everything in crucible during your super? The melee is perfect for rounding corners to which shotguns are hiding or finishing weaklings. I’m sorry man but you just suck
