Acrius in pve feels weak
The glory of shutguns in pve got a nerf when they were moved to special slot. I’ve been feeling like acrus got nerfed aswell even though it remained in heavy slot, as its pve functionality isn’t really there at all. With us having weapons that deal more damage per second than acrius, like sleeper or even edge transit, there is just no reason to use this awesome shotgun in pve at all. High risk low reward.

Oh yeah I forgot that thing existed, I even have the catalyst as well and I still haven't used the damn thing.

Compared to 1K Voices, Sleeper and Whisper, it really does. What do all those weapons have in common? Low risk, super high reward. Acrius forces you to close the gap on dangerous enemies but it deals less damage than those who force you to stay away? Acrius alongside Swords should be the most damaging Heavy weapons.

I haven’t used it since I got it. The 100 rate of fore shot guns always outperformed it and didn’t mean giving up and exotic slot. Sad but true

4 RepliesI agree. Other shotguns outrange acrius in PvP. Ikelos shotgun outdamages acrius in PvE. Why is acrius even an exotic again?

3 RepliesI mean, it does pretty substantial damage per shot. It’s DPS is iffy without the catalyst, though.

They are way better in the special slot i have no idea what you are talking about shotguns are great but that shotgun is the worst they need to buff that pve damage by like 500%

I have the catalyst and I still feel like I’d be better off using a legendary shotgun in another slot. If nothing else, it NEEDS to have Long March reworked. It’s a relatively useless perk.
