Maybe I’m missing it, but since when should it be essential to have a clan, or full team just for quick play? QP has always been a pub list. Sometimes you stomp, sometimes you get stomped. Full team/clan will always up your chances. But QP matches much quicker with less emphasis on a level playing field.
