I had the honor to play against a guardian who´s movement speed seemend exceptionally high, and of course i know about titan skating. I do not care if anybody is using titan skating (or any other exploit for that matter) in pve, but when i t comes to pvp, that is where i draw the line. Combining a player who is not playing to the rules (or at least i hope using a macro means breaking the rules) and a player base small eneugh to make you play 6 games of rumble in a row with that guy leads to everybody in that lobby having an extremly bad time. What i want to know is, wrether there is any penalty for people obusing (macro)skating in pvp, or if bungie just lets it slide. Another question i would like to get a answer on is; how does bungie treat reports (especially those concerning macro obuse), and how long does that process normally take to complete. Thank you in advance for your anwsers!
(P.S. I could not find any forum entrys on this problem, except one reddit post, but there was no offical answer from any bungie emploeys, thats the reason why this is getting posted here, if you have any fourther information, or if this is the wrong site to ask this question, then please inform me under this post)

5 RepliesThe reason I think you have not seen a comment from Bungie on it is there is a grey area regarding it. There is a rule against using outside aides to automate gameplay, which could be stretched to include a macro for skating however there is also a keybind for skating that would not need a macro. So it is a tough area to enforce.
