More Than 500 Law Professors Condemn Kavanaugh For ‘Lack Of Judicial Temperament’
https://www.yahoo.com/news/more-500-law-professors-condemn-010208585.html
More than 500 law professors from nearly 100 law schools around the nation have signed a letter to the U.S. Senate to say that the volatile temperament Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaughdisplayed on Thursday as he testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee disqualifies him from sitting on the nation’s highest court.
“We regret that we feel compelled to write to you to provide our views that at the Senate hearings on Thursday, September 27, 2018, the Honorable Brett Kavanaugh displayed a lack of judicial temperament that would be disqualifying for any court, and certainly for elevation to the highest court of this land,” the letter says.
The letter is signed by many high-profile law professors, including eight from Yale Law School, where Kavanaugh obtained his law degree. The letter remains open for additional signatures through Thursday, when it will be presented to the Senate.......

61 RepliesI don't give a -blam!-, a single -blam!- what liberal activist professors think of kavanaugh. This man's life has been ruined by a lying bitch. I am beyond pissed. I am beyond angry. I am done with being respectful to the left. No more kiddy gloves for you mentally ill retards. Go -blam!- yourselves. The red waves coming mother -blam!-ers.

So five professors per school? Doesn't sound as many now...

1 ReplyI think it’s funny that he was actually considered the best candidate for scotus. What a joke. To be considered for a high position in the USA you apparently just have to love beer a lot.

Conservatives a couple months ago - “The FBI works for DEMONRATS!!! They’re a disgrace because TRUMP SAID SO!! And he is like a SUPER BUSINESS MAN!!” Conservatives today - “THE FBI DID A GOOD JOB! KAVANAUGH IS INNOCENT!! RED WAVE INBOUND!!! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!”

9 RepliesEdited by Section Ratio General: 10/4/2018 4:34:10 PMI feel that, even with evidence that proved that Kavanaugh was guilty, the Republicans in Senate already have their minds made up and are just going to vote Yes anyways, even the swing voters. I guarantee that come tomorrow, because of party over conscience and stability, every single Democrat will vote against the nomination, while every single Republican will vote for the nomination, given how polarized and dysfunctional Congress has been since even while I was in high school, and that was almost a decade ago. Hell, when it comes to just about anything, American politics are literally "You are either with me or you're against me", even on this issue.

47 RepliesYou’re -blam!-ing kidding me right? You’ve got to be absolutely -blam!-ing kidding me. Let me ask you a question, wouldn’t you be even a little pissed off, if an allegation, NOT A CONVICTION, destroyed your life? Wouldn’t you be pissed? Wouldn’t you be angry? If you say you would behave better, you insult my intelligence.

11 RepliesThat was a court hearing?
-
13 RepliesHe's not in an official court of law and he is defending his good name. Would you not be upset if somebody falsely accused you of a horrible crime such as -blam!- with not a speck of evidence just to ruin your career? He went in there as Brett Kavanaugh, not a judge. He had to defend himself from personal attacks on him and his family, of course he's gonna be upset and informal.

2 RepliesAmerican Politics are absolutely idiotic and childish.

This is his ENTIRE -blam!-ING LIFE in their hands. How would you feel if something someone SAYS you did ages ago ruined your life?

Today 51 votes sed that the opinion of your judges mean -blam!-all

1 ReplyEdited by Partisan: 10/4/2018 11:11:48 PMI gotta say, the argument that "he doesn't have the temperament" really hasn't gotten any more convincing since Clinton used it

Those that can, do. Those that can't, teach. Those that should have been euthanized, politic.

The FBI investigation exonerated him. His reputation had been smeared, his wife received death threats, his life could have been destroyed over false accusations. What happened to him was unprecedented, extreme. I wouldn't expect anyone to endure such treatment cheerfully. I can't help but wonder what the political affiliations of these law professors are.

21 RepliesEdited by Jones Burr: 10/4/2018 11:18:36 PM“As you know, the Standing Committee confines its evaluation to the qualities of integrity, professional competence, and judicial temperament. After an exhaustive evaluation process, the Standing Committee has determined by a unanimous vote that Judge Kavanaugh is “Well Qualified” for the position of Associate Justice of the Supreme Court” The ABA say his judicial temperament is just fine after a “exhaustive evaluation process”, and voted unanimously to give him their highest rating of well qualified. Now who do we believe? The ABA who’s job is to actually evaluate judges or some professors who’s job it appears to be partisan hacks. If you’re just going off opinions let’s use the opinion of the liberal Democrat feminist lawyer that has argued more cases in front of the Supreme Court than any other woman. https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2018/08/02/im-a-liberal-feminist-heres-why-i-support-judge-kavanaugh-219081

21 RepliesThis isn't going to do a lot to change most people's opinion as colleges are seen as part of the problem the US has. They are viewed pretty much like the media and politicians.

10 RepliesI'd be pretty upset too if I was being accused of multiple instances of gang -blam!- with hardly any evidence when the whole country is watching.

6 RepliesDoesn't matter, the vote is incredibly likely to come up soon ending with Kav getting confirmed. This whole thing has made a lot of people angry at the left, increasing the chances of a red wave in Nov.
