i love this thing, i cant get enough of it.

this has become my new Bounty, took me and my mate a couple of sleeper shots to put him down and got the Obydonom-nom-nom triumph.

Dropped down and Mr. Nom-Nom was casually picking daisys (or taking a dump, hard to tell) whilst I cycled my weapons to make sure everything was loaded up and ready to bring the pain. Fired a rocket right up his choccie-starfish and watched in horror as 0.04% of his health bar disappeared and the number 580 appeared on his wellness bar. Oh dear. Jump, Jump, rocket, jump, jump shotgun, run, slide, Jump, panic attack, rocket, Super......done. Had to renew my choice of underwear for the month and I'd only put them on clean last week, but job done. No worries.

My first experience with it I was 520 light. A fully charged Scorch cannon rocket read immune and I was like WTF is this?! He then chased me across they entire map 1 shotting me twice and he even followed me into the boss room and I had to leave a friend behind to hold his aggro. I read the recommended light level after my first death and I knew Bungo had royally trolled me. Might as well have named him Rick. I later tricked my friends into attacking him as I ran ahead only to see both of them go down which then made me the troll which was sickeningly satisfying. Lol I have to admit The Odynom Is now a beloved feature of mine. Bungie literally gave us a taken version of Randal the Vandal(Taken Captain) and added him to our weekly story missions.

3 RepliesKilled him for the first time today. I encountered him three weeks ago but couldn’t damage him but now I’m 540 so I supered him then sleepered the shit out of him. Was expecting a drop for the first kill but I just got some blues. Still a cool little tidbit to add to the game. I was actually excited when I realised I could damage him

Edited by AnCapaillMor: 10/2/2018 9:29:42 AMMakes the weekly dreaming story mission interesting, you don't just run through it, you explore looking for this guy, i thought his first 2 placements were fantastic, you see a red blip, you look under the bridge, shoot see "immune" and panic, literally a troll under the bridge. 2nd week i didn't even notice him, jumped over picked up the scorch cannon and 90% of my shield and hp dissapear. If the mission cycles, i hope they change his location every time.

5 Repliesfirst time I encountered him a week or so back he had ?? next to him and the -blam!-er kept chasing me up In the garden area by that tree he was sat below a bridge, I killed him this time thinking he was the third of the bosses I had to kill, used all my super and heavy so didn't have any left for the actual boss I had to kill

I was playing with a couple of lower light teammates who couldn't damage him. We all kept running around while I slowly whittled him down. It was great.

man ever since i saw him the first week and got my pain absolutely measured i made it a goal to level up to the point where i could finally put him in the ground. and then, i did.
