Luna’s howl grind
I did it...... and I did it solo, for those that don’t think they will ever get it because shotguns are busted or comp matchmaking is busted, or whatever excuse you wanna put, yes the grind is hard yes it is frustrating, stay optimistic and learn to play and adapt to “apeing shotgunners or 4 man stacks” and try to get better at the game, I started this at 1098 and ended 2148 within a span of one week and boy did I learn some shit I never thought was possible, And I know I know easier said then done, but I bet for the people who just sit on the forums and bitch and whine about comp, if they took that time they spent in the forums and tried to get better they might have it.

3 RepliesAm I crazy or did they “buff” the loss penalty? I know they said they would do away with the loss streak, but now one loss drops me 30 points. I am only around 690 Glory. Haven’t played much comp. Got a 5 streak going, up to 700 something... one loss and I’m down 30 points. Harsh.

25 RepliesCongrats to your skill and talent. Well, there are also ppl that can run the 100m dash in 10 seconds. I can train as much as is human possible and I will not reach this time. Same is true for Comp Solo. The Luna should not be reserved for the 0.1%. Creating content that only every 1 in 1000 players get but is payed by everyone is astonishing.

Solo to 2100 is a cake walk, blind folded, and one hand tied behind your back easy. Solo to 5500? Now that would be impressive.

3 RepliesI just finished the Redrix Broadsword quest and I can say... I’m just a horribly average player who wouldn’t be able to get Luna’s Howl. I’ve played games for 30 years and I’m still a shitty aim. Some people can only improve so much if they have bad hand eye coordination. It would also be pointless me getting it. I can’t nail hand cannon head shots to save my life.

2 RepliesNot buying it GrizzllyPanda. Pretty sure you paid to have someone get that for you.... I looked you up on destinytracker. You have a 60% win percentage in Comp at 79 matches and about 15hrs of game time, but really never played that game mode before (until the Luna). Your stats are not much different than mine in Quickplay. You have a better KD, but your win ratio is far worse at 48%. No way you solo'd that and did this in 79 matches. Furthermore, you have played Trials 5 times with a KD of under 1.0. You suddenly had your eyes opened up and can see clearly now... you should be caring ppl in Trials with a 60% win percentage... SOLO. Just think if you had 3 others like you, you wouldnt be losing at all. The comp scene is garbage, toxic, and poorly designed. Frankly Bungie likes it this way so they dont have to design a competitive PvP game that hits tourneys. They dont want to manage another Halo and try to balance sh!t. It's perfectly flawed!!!

Just finished it solo last night. Heck of a grind. Took about 2/3 weeks I think can't remember exactly when I started but damn, I'm glad it's over Now to get Redrix's Broadsword (and maybe Not Forgotten too) GG.

Still have 38 headshots to go and that will be finished up today. All 100% solo. One thing I will say is once you’re above 2100 the skill of your teammates improve. Most games I’ve had now are super close. Unless it’s a four stack. Then I break out the besto.

The quest steps for me are hard cant use handcannons for shit but winnin is the ez part for me. Im a hardcore solo player who tends to top frag alot of the time.
