I've been seeing a lot of youtubers/streamers say that the 3rd seed of light required for the 3rd subclass is acquired exclusively in the raid... This best not be the case. I'm so tired of the "philosophy" and the constant catering to literally anyone besides the solo players or literally any player that doesn't want to do pvp or the raids. It's completely unnecessary to do shit like this. A subclass is not a f***ing endgame reward! It's something everyone should be able to get with or without a group, and it shouldn't require anything to do with endgame.
Just when I thought you'd actually learned something with this expansion, you go and pull BS like this again. Stop trying to force people to do things they don't want to do. I sincerely hope the community gives you hell for this if this is the only way to acquire the 3rd subclass. Hell even needing to do the blind well for the second is a stretch honestly. Someone from Bungie needs to speak up about this, and I sincerely hope there's a lot of backlash if this is the case.

I will concede that perhaps a skill tree being such a high stakes reward makes less sense than an exotic quest line but it’s starting to really bother me that you’re all complaining for being encouraged to play more than 10% of the game and that everyone expects to be given all the trophy’s without any of the input. You want AoS? Get better at crucible. You want raid drops? Get higher light and join a group. People complaining that they are solo players etc: Destiny is a team based game, with the exception of the campaign, the entire game is based around playing with others. If you don’t like playing with other people, you’ve chosen the wrong game. There’s now LFG etc. I know there are scum bags out there that boot or leave and that’s what Bungie should address with a rep system or something. I also realise that some people may have anxiety or perhaps no mic or another reason for being unable to play the raid or team based activities and sincerely I sympathise but when a game is designed as a team game, expecting anything else is only going to lead to disappointment. I would suggest that if you were to criticise Bungie here it would be better to ask them to put more work into their “Fireteams” stuff, with rep systems and better rewards for helpful and patient players. Edit: grammar.
