Just to play devil’s advocate here, are we certain faster ttk is the secret elixir that D2 lacks?
I’ve been playing D1 here and there, and though it’s nostalgic and fun, I have to say the crucible is a chaotic hot mess to me.
I don’t love getting shouldered charge shut down when I’ve just cast bladedance, or getting constantly one-shot by every grenade imaginable.
Sunbreaker Titans can plow right through my skip grenades taking body shots as they hammer me.
Snipes are cool, and stuff, but overall the game feels out of control and full of imbalance.
Is this really what we want?
I should add that I am a .7 D1 kd at best, so all you guys who wanna tell me to “git gud” can rest assured that I am fully aware of my shortcomings.
I don’t think it’s a complete bad thing that the crucible in D2 is more forgiving on casual players.

15 RepliesI don't want lower TTK. I like it how it is. I want to win duels because I was more accurate and for longer, not just because I got the drop on someone. If you pair lower TTK with the movement changes....it's just moving closer and closer to childish COD gameplay. I don't understand people wanting to lower the skill ceiling.
