62 iron banner packages....
Not one helmet. I understand they're changing the system but that's no excuse for the "rng" in place. The odds of that happening are impossibly low. Jokes on me for thinking I could beat it.

2 RepliesDepends on how many items are in the loot pool. If there's say, 25 items, then your chance of getting that 1 after 92 attempts is 97.6%. But seemingly everything was in the loot pool, with probably IB gear weighted slightly higher. So no telling. But it's still BS that after maxing you chances this season you didn't get it. Hopefully it's available as a random drop in the next IB.

1 ReplyJust not lucky I guess. Got full armor for all three in just over 40 packages. Didn't keep it all as don't like the look of some armor. How I did it was everyday did challenges and got token bundles on all 3, but saved them and turned in tokens with one character. So I'd have over 100 tokens in inventory and turn them in consecutively with the character that I wanted armor, got what I needed each time.

I got a total of 20 Iron Banner pieces but only 3 unique items. 7 chest pieces and no other armor and 9 IB SideArms and 4 fusion rifles. This game was promoted by Luke Smith as a collectors game but we are unable to collect ANYTHING due to the crap loot system. Bungie, I know you like sticking it to us but for future IB's it would be great if we could purchase the items. You can make us wait until the last day, charge a ton of tokens, etc.... Just give us the option so those of us who still care can obtain complete seasonal gear.

1 ReplyRNG is a cruel mistress. I worked SO HARD to try and get the full armour set for my Hunter but, alas, it was not to be. I only managed to get a Cloak, Boots and Helmet. Hopefully, by next Iron Banana, I will be able to get the full set. *fingers crossed*

1 ReplyYou can have my helmets I've gotten for 2 days straight! Every milestone was a helmet when I got a piece of armor....even the 2 raid challenge chest last night was 2 helms of the same thing! The RNG in this game is lackluster... Kind Regards, Eziel

2 RepliesI'm extremely doubtful it's even RNG at this point. I'm practically certain Bungie holds back gear that they think you'd want until you leave for an extended period, at which point they award you something new. So, in other words, they punish you for playing often.
