Why does bungie think its ok to release a game at 60$ then release the rest of the content behind 200$ worth of DLC
I want to like the game and it was fun for a while but i dont get it so many other games release at 60$ and have more content hell I dont think i have ever played an mmo that cost as much as Destiny 2 does with so little content almost every free MMO i have played has more content then Destiny 2 and is -blam!-ing free This game could be good but this greedy as hell business design kills it. Because it could actually compeat with other mmos If they didint think they could get away with this bullshit.
I cant think of any mmo ever created that cost 60 -blam!-ing Dollars releases with jack shit for end game content then want to make you pay 20 dollars for every update.
Game could be so good if it wasint designed around trying to grab as much money as possible for as little content as possible.
Guess you cant trust any developers ever now. Especially "AAA Companies" AKA the ones that will -blam!- you over the most. Unless your Nintendo.

Why does WoW charge $15 a month, then $50 per dlc? There is usually 1 dlc a year, but some dlc have been 2 and 3 years apart. Total, that is between $230 and $590, depending on when the dlc is released. What you are talking about is nothing new to gaming. This has been around for at least 15 years now.

2 RepliesI found it odd how everyone blew their load on EA over battlefront 2. Yet they're okay with Bungie selling a $60 game, having micro transactions, and selling DLC 2-3 months after the "full game" just released.

That’s $110 a year, because they rerelease the same game every year. Destiny had a $60 dollar game with about $40 DLC a year. Stop complaining about price, games are expensive today. Vanilla WoW cost like fifty bucks and each expansion since cost like forty, on top of a monthly subscription fee.

When the sum of the price of the DLC is more expensive than the price of the original game, as was the case in D1, yeah... that's a problem.

its only a matter of time before Destiny 2 dies! I was already struggling to have something to play for after two frikking weeks. There is just nothing to do once you reach powerlevel 260-280. Normal strikes are to low to give any achievement, and nightfalls and raid, not even prestige is behind a groupwall not accessable unless you stare for hours at a loading screen. -blam!- that game development in 2017. Next year Anthem will squash Destiny 2 for good.
