I know, I know. Nobody -blam!-ing cares. But I'm a Destiny fan. I bought it when it came out, dropped it a while and started over just before TTK came out. I have never, not in D1, nor D2, hit the max Light ("Power") level. I am a filthy casual. But I enjoyed the game so much, and was a huge fan, even when there wasn't content. In D2, I've still got a lot of content to go (Strikes, Raids, Trials...) so I guess you could say I never really participated in the endgame. There's just no incentive to play.
Trials is the only interesting endgame right now, in my opinion. However, I'm not a PvP kind of person, and will not blame Bungie for that. However, I didn't buy this game for the PvP, I did it for PvE, which is supposed to be the main thing in FPSRPGMMO's, right? And yet, the PvE endgame is laughable.
The Strikes are fine, until you get to the bosses, which are just copypasta bosses with a Invincibility mechanic. Lorewise, they're interesting though (what if I could choose the ones I liked... oh wait)
The Raid is stupid. They took the lore and the bosses out of it. What's left is a beautiful ship, without interesting activity.
Why would I even want to play Nightfalls if I just get a higher chance for Legendaries I already have?
And there's so much more (just look at the forums, past the salt). Don't get me wrong. I don't hate this game, nor am I 'rage-quitting'. I'm just... dissapointed. So I went back to Skyrim, which is only about 30 bucks right now, with all the expansions. Perhaps I'll buy Far Cry 5, it looks very promising. Again, so did D2.
Have a nice day.

Edited by PR4X1S: 11/16/2017 9:15:35 PMTry Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen on Xbox One, it's well worth the money only £20 for hours of fun killing mythical creatures, and always remember, "Master works all you can't go wrong."😂

I was a bit disappointed with skyrim after playing the hell out of oblivion.

11 RepliesEdited by Grzzldgamer: 11/6/2017 11:05:04 PMThis isn't a salty post or a bungie-luv post either. It's a serious question about the mentailty of consumers today. I noticed this division on the forum of people either accepting the product as it is or others calling out the maker for faults that clearly and/or assumingly exist. What's odd is that the "accepters" acknowledge some of the faults, they know there are problems, but not only accept them, they defend them! Even go as far as giving the excuses for the maker of the product. As an active commission only sales person for decades, I would have loved these types of consumers! They never existed though. At least I never came across them. If I ever sold an inferior, faulty, or falsely advertised product I'd either loose the customer, refund, exchange, or something. When did people start becoming so compliant? Just accepteing the slop plopped in front of them? These "accepters" are called "lay downs" in the sales business. Can you imagine the spouses they settled for? The cars they drive? I'm just imagining them sounding like Eeyore with their gloomy, depressed, anhedonic retorts of "that's the way it is." I honestly think it comes down to this. Sometimes we fight with ourselves, and defend ourselves from others, for being so stupid as to fall for the same trick. We don't want to look stupid, so we devoutly defend our decision. The "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." is a tough pill to swallow. You people defending this "game" are in such denial. It's a shame.
This is an obligatory post about me telling you, yes you, how much D2 sucks and how much better D1 is. Shocking isn't it? It's not like you've already read 1,000 other posts like mine but I'm telling you, my post is a special post. You see it uses the same points everyone else has made about why the game sucks except I take those same points and use them over and over again! Pretty neat huh? Oh did I tell you I'm a year 1 veteran from D1? Well now you know because you definitely needed to know that little bit of information about me and how long I've been playing Destiny. I know you all definitely care about all of this. You guys want to know the best part about all this? Of course you do! Well the best part is that even though I say I hate this game, I'm still gonna play it and just keep on making posts like these on the forums because I'm a big hypocrite! Playing other games? Pffffft right. Whoever came up with that idea is in need of mental help... I'm just going to keep on complaining about a game that I continue to play and you all are going to have to deal with it! Obligatory Edit: Obligatory edit stating that we are trending even though the post most likely isn't trending. Second Obligatory Edit: Second obligatory edit exclaiming the posts success despite the post being uninteresting and most likely unsuccessful (Example: HOLY HELL COZMO AND DEEJ GOTTA SEE THIS THANKS FOR THE 1000000 UPDOOTS). Third Obligatory Edit: Third obligatory edit involving TL;DR because this is a somewhat long post so I'd thought I'd express for all of you. Also, I will use this edit to show you guys that even my favorite Destiny streamer agrees and dislikes D2 because yes. link Fourth Obligatory Edit: Fourth obligatory edit blaming Deej and Cozmo for all of D2's problems despite them only being community managers and actually not having very much power to solve many issues with game. Also -blam!- you Luke Smith because you're obviously a big issue too even though I have no real reason to say you're a big issue. "If only they would listen to us loyal players." Fifth Obligatory Edit: Fifth obligatory edit demanding Bungie for a fusion rifle nerf and to buff Dubious Voll- I mean Wardcliff Coil.
10 RepliesIf you love skyrim and you liked Destinys loot chase with strikes and raids go buy Eso for 10 dollars and you won't regret it.

Skyrim? Hell nah that game had its time. Tired of playing that old boring game. After playing the Witcher 3 I’ll never go back to that.
-
Time to get hyped for Skyrim switch edition amirite

I really do think adding "light" to the leveling system was a joke. I remember in vanilla d1 you leveled to 20 or whatever and then the raid gear moved you to 30 very simple guns didn't do anything for your "level" they added to many things that took away the grind and while that worked for awhile it's just yo easy with the current set up. There is some things they should go back to the d1 drawing board with and keep certain things from d2. I could go into detail and go on and on but with how many posts are currently out about it, I shouldn't really have too.

I recently fell in love with the game again the mods out are really nice and add plenty of hours of gameplay. Was really burnt out too making multiple builds and what not.

i've been not playing Skyrim since launch. #HateMe.

Took me exactly 1 week to stop playing Skyrim. D2 netted me 3-4 weeks. D2 > Skyrim That logic tho.
